The date matters here. The Xbox page examined on October 13, 2026 displayed an October 14, 2026 release date for Xbox Series X|S. A date shown immediately before launch is not proof that the product was already downloadable at that moment, and store metadata can change. Recheck the live Xbox listing before organizing a cross-platform session.
Is local co-op or split screen supported?
Local co-op is unconfirmed. Steam lists single-player and online co-op, but does not explicitly list couch co-op, split screen, or shared-screen multiplayer. If one player cannot join
Compare that player’s connection and NAT result with the others, confirm that the game is updated, and verify that the platform account is running the same current version. Because the official listing does not document the invite flow or error codes, avoid treating a particular menu workaround as authoritative.
If you are planning an Xbox-and-PC group
First confirm that the Xbox version is currently released in your region. Then verify the exact cross-platform pairing: the Xbox page advertises cross-platform multiplayer but does not enumerate the participating platforms. If you expected couch co-op
