There are three soft objectives in 23 Megabytes a Second: report the illegal server farm in the second-floor apartment, then report Michael Williams’s PC and prohibited images in his third-floor room. You must also complete the mission’s main objectives; these evidence tasks do not replace them.
All three soft objective locations
- Illegal server farm — second floor: Enter the apartment containing the server cluster and report it. The mission layout describes servers throughout this apartment, and a Steam Community guide also places the server farm on the second floor. Steam Community guide; Ready or Not Wiki.
- Suspect’s PC — third floor: In Michael Williams’s room, report the PC on his desk, located in the far corner of the room according to the mission reference. Ready or Not Wiki.
- Prohibited images — third floor: In the same room, report the images in the nightstand beside the bed. Ready or Not Wiki.

How the building is laid out
The mission takes place at San Uriel Condominiums, a three-floor building. The first floor is an atrium and stairway rather than a set of enterable apartments. The second floor has one enterable apartment, where you’ll find the server farm. Two units are enterable on the third floor, including Michael’s. The map reference says you can enter through the main entrance or the fire escape, which reaches the upper floors. Ready or Not Wiki.

A practical search order
- Secure the approach: Establish control of the stairway as you enter. The mission reference warns that suspects can see and shoot at officers from upper floors into the atrium.
- Check the second-floor apartment: Find and report the server farm.
- Continue to the third floor: Search Michael’s room for both the PC on the desk and the images in the nightstand beside the bed.
This order follows the reported locations; it is not a tested speedrun route or a claim that one entrance is always safer. The sources do not establish a definitive best entry route.

The mission reference lists three main objectives: bring order to chaos by arresting or neutralizing contacts, rescue civilians by detaining unarmed contacts, and arrest Michael Williams. Fictional mission context
In the game’s briefing, officers have been unable to contact apartments 13 and 15, both owned by Michael Williams. They do not know whether he is barricaded in apartment 14 or has moved elsewhere. What locations are confirmed
The references establish floor- and room-level locations: the server farm is on floor two, while the PC and prohibited images are in Michael’s third-floor room, at the desk and nightstand beside the bed respectively. They do not establish a precise door-by-door route, compass directions, randomized spawn behavior, or a complete list of ordinary evidence pickups. Avoid treating unrelated paperwork or clues as required objectives unless a guide specifically identifies them as such.
