Rellana’s Twin Blades are a Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree weapon with build paths tied to Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence and Faith. Official patch notes record two separate balance changes: Version 1.14 increased scaling at lower Intelligence and Faith, and Version 1.17 later increased critical-hit power. Neither note gives numerical values, so a precise “best build” or damage claim needs current in-game verification.
What are Rellana’s Twin Blades?
Rellana’s Twin Blades are associated with Shadow of the Erdtree, the expansion for Elden Ring. A community reference describes the weapon as involving Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence and Faith, making it relevant to characters weighing physical-attribute investment against Intelligence- and Faith-related investment. The reference supports that broad build framing, not exact requirements, damage figures or a universally optimal allocation. Eldenpedia’s weapon reference is community material, rather than an official specification.
How has the weapon changed in patches?
The latest official weapon-specific adjustment identified here is in Bandai Namco’s Version 1.17 patch notes, dated August 27, 2026: “Increased critical hit power.” The notes identify App Ver. 1.17 and Regulation Ver. 1.17 as the versions displayed after the update. They do not state how large the increase was. Read the Version 1.17 patch notes.
An earlier change appeared in Version 1.14: the notes reported increased attribute scaling for lower Intelligence and Faith attributes. That is historical context, not a substitute for the later critical-hit adjustment; the official note provides no numerical scaling values. Read the Version 1.14 patch notes.

How should you think about a build?
There is no verified single best allocation in the available weapon information. Treat the choice as a trade-off to test in your own character and game version, rather than as a fixed recipe:
- Physical-attribute emphasis: Compare investment in Strength and Dexterity if your priority is the weapon’s melee damage.
- Intelligence and Faith emphasis: Compare those attributes if you want to prioritize the weapon-skill side of the build framing described by the community reference.
- Split investment: A mixed allocation is another option, but it divides points among more attributes. Whether it performs better depends on your level, equipment and use case.
These are comparison options, not tested recommendations. Exact requirements, scaling grades, damage values, skill details and upgrade information are not established by the cited official notes or the available community-reference excerpt. Check the weapon’s current in-game attributes and test damage at your intended level before committing to a precise stat plan; results can also differ between PvE and PvP.
