What time does Resident Evil Requiem come out?
It came out on February 27, 2026. The schedule reported by TechRadar on February 25, 2026 showed that console and PC unlocks did not always happen at the same local time. These were the reported examples:

The times above are the regional examples in TechRadar’s report, which said Capcom had posted the schedule on Steam. The linked Steam notice does not expose readable notice text in the retrieved page, so the exact examples are attributable to TechRadar’s reporting rather than independently verifiable from the notice text.
Can you preload Resident Evil Requiem now?
No. The pre-launch preload period is over. Before release, the reported preload option was for customers who had pre-ordered the game; it was not a way to play before the scheduled unlock.

Which platforms did Resident Evil Requiem launch on?
Capcom released the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The company first announced PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, then added Switch 2 as a launch platform in September 2025. Its March 2026 update confirms the February 27 release and all four platforms. Capcom describes Requiem as a survival horror game and the ninth main installment in the series.
What editions and formats were announced?
Capcom’s November 26, 2025 pre-order announcement described physical retail copies and digital storefront availability. It does not establish current stock or which editions are still offered, so check the relevant platform store or retailer for live availability before buying.

These are the contents Capcom announced; their current availability is not confirmed. Capcom’s pre-order announcement also named a Resident Evil Requiem-themed Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, but did not establish its current stock or price.

In a March 4, 2026 update, Capcom said worldwide sales had surpassed five million units. That is Capcom’s reported milestone, not a current sales total.
