What the 2013 Minecraft build includes
GamesBeat’s February 4, 2013 feature by Mike Minotti identifies the creation as Moltenpanther’s recreation of the Spencer Mansion from the original Resident Evil. The article describes interiors and exteriors, the courtyard, and the residence building, and includes images comparing the Minecraft build with the game. It reports that Moltenpanther had first shared the project on Reddit.

Was Moltenpanther’s map released, and can you still download it?
Yes, it was announced as released. In a Minecraft Forum post dated June 14, 2013, Moltenpanther wrote, “It is now released! Download link is at the bottom of the original post.” That confirms the historical release, but not that the link still works today. The sources also do not establish which Minecraft version the original map requires, so check any surviving download page or included instructions before trying to load it.
Other Spencer Mansion Minecraft maps are separate projects
Several later fan creations use similar names, but they are not updated versions of Moltenpanther’s build. Their formats, edition labels, and stated fidelity differ.

A separate Raccoon City project listing, posted March 4, 2024, says work began in 2019 and draws inspiration from several Resident Evil games and remakes. It includes the Spencer Mansion among its settings and says it uses standard blocks and command blocks without mods or texture packs. The listing showed 45% progress when captured; that is a dated snapshot, not a guarantee of its present status.

- For the specific build behind the 2013 headline, look for Moltenpanther’s project and treat any old download link as unverified until it opens and provides usable files.
- For a world and WorldEdit schematic, the 2023 Spencer Estate listing describes both formats.
- For a map explicitly labeled Bedrock Edition, the September 2024 listing provides that label, while also warning that it takes creative liberties.
- For the broadest Raccoon City setting in this group, the 2024 project includes the mansion but had a page-captured progress status of 45%.
