Roblox may be known for quick, disposable experiences, but its RPG catalog contains permanent-death stakes, authored worlds, class systems, turn-based combat, creature collection, ocean exploration, dungeon economies, and long-term progression. These 24 games have ideas substantial enough to imagine outside Roblox—even though their current availability, monetization, moderation, and device support remain platform-dependent.
How to read this list
“Deserve their own platform” is an editorial frame, not a claim that these games are literally leaving Roblox. Every title below remains a Roblox experience, with platform-dependent servers, moderation, monetization, device support, and availability. The point is that these games have enough identity to feel larger than a disposable browser diversion: they build real progression systems, combat models, economies, stories, collection loops, or persistent worlds.

1. Deepwoken
Best for: players who want a difficult, high-stakes RPG with serious consequences.
#1 Best Overall
- Redemption: Online only. Robux cards can only be redeemed in a browser at Roblox.com/redeem. They cannot be redeemed in the Roblox mobile app or any video game console.
- Roblox is an immersive platform for connection and communication. Every day, millions of people come to Roblox to create, play, work, learn, and connect with each other in experiences built by our global community of creators.
- Get more with every Roblox Gift Card! From now on, when you redeem a Roblox gift card, you get up to 25% more Robux. Perfect for gaming, creating, and exploring- more Robux means more possibilities!
- Deck out your avatar and unlock additional perks in your favorite experiences when you use Roblox Gift Cards to purchase Robux (Roblox's virtual currency).
- Each gift card grants a free virtual item upon redemption.
Deepwoken is the clearest example of a Roblox RPG that feels built around a complete game-sized idea. Its identity comes from permanent character loss, hundreds of abilities, equipment crafting, hostile exploration, dungeons, PvP, and extensive lore. Progress matters because a failed run can erase a character rather than simply sending the player back to a checkpoint.
That permadeath structure is also its biggest warning. Deepwoken is demanding, punishing, and designed for players willing to learn its systems. It is a strong choice for anyone who values risk, buildcraft, discovery, and lore over instant rewards—but a poor first RPG for someone looking for a relaxed dungeon crawl.
2. Arcane Odyssey
Best for: open-ocean exploration, magic builds, and faction-driven adventure.
Arcane Odyssey places players in the War Seas, where magic, fighting styles, weapons, clans, island capture, faction conflict, and exploration combine into an unusually coherent open-world adventure. Its ocean setting gives the game a clear standalone pitch: this is not merely a collection of quests in disconnected zones, but a world organized around travel, islands, power, and competing groups.
There is an important access caveat. The official experience description recommends 6 GB or more of RAM and says a keyboard and mouse are required. Check the current page before assuming that a phone, tablet, or controller setup will work for you.
3. Loomian Legacy
Best for: creature collection, turn-based battles, trading, and a continuing story.
Loomian Legacy is an in-development MMO adventure RPG built around exploring, collecting, battling, trading, and following an ongoing story. Its original creature designs give it a recognizable identity, while its collection structure provides the long-term goal that keeps players returning.
The key qualification is “in development.” Loomian Legacy should not be described as a finished RPG with a completed narrative. Its appeal is partly the prospect of watching a long-running creature-collection world expand over time.
4. Vesteria
Best for: players looking for a traditional MMORPG structure.
Vesteria is the strongest classic-MMO comparison in this group. It offers open-world regions, cities, dungeons, bosses, a player-driven marketplace, and three recognizable progression paths: Warrior, Hunter, and Mage. The combination of class choice, exploration, boss hunting, and an economy makes it feel more like a conventional online RPG than a short Roblox quest experience.
The marketplace and live-service elements are part of the appeal, but they also make the game subject to change. Economy balance, activity levels, and update status can shift, so treat its current state as something to verify rather than an evergreen promise.

5. World // Zero
Best for: an approachable class-and-dungeon RPG.
World // Zero is a polished entry point for players who want a conventional dungeon crawler. Its loop includes quests, raids, bosses, class unlocks, rare loot, guilds, accessories, pets, and magic. It also presents itself with MMORPG and JRPG influences, giving the experience a broader structure than a simple sequence of combat arenas.
Roblox has recognized World // Zero in its Best RPG category, but the recommendation here remains editorial. Its strongest quality is accessibility: players can understand the basic goal quickly while still having classes, loot, guilds, and longer-term collection systems to pursue.
6. Blox Fruits
Best for: mainstream action-RPG progression and broad exploration.
Blox Fruits is the mass-market action RPG on this list. Players build power through swords or fruits, fight enemies and bosses, travel across the ocean, and search for secrets. Its appeal is immediate: there is always another ability, enemy, island, or upgrade to chase.

Rank #2
- The easiest way to add Robux (Roblox’s digital currency) to your account. Use Robux to deck out your avatar and unlock additional perks in your favorite Roblox experiences.
- This is a digital gift card that can only be redeemed for Robux at Roblox.com/redeem. It cannot be redeemed in the Roblox mobile app or any video game console. Please allow up to 5 minutes for your balance to be updated after redeeming.
- Roblox Gift Cards can be redeemed worldwide, perfect for gifting to Roblox fans anywhere in the world.
- From now on, when you redeem a Roblox Gift Card, you get up to 25% more Robux. Perfect for gaming, creating, and exploring- more Robux means more possibilities!
- Every Roblox Gift Card grants a free virtual item upon redemption.
The experience is also a good example of why popularity and depth are not the same thing. Blox Fruits won Roblox’s 2024 Best Action RPG award and has an enormous mainstream footprint, but its central appeal is the breadth and momentum of its progression loop rather than the authored storytelling of a traditional single-player RPG. Its anime and game inspirations should not be mistaken for proof of official licensing.
Co-op and loot: clear dungeon loops
7. Dungeon Quest
Best for: straightforward cooperative dungeon runs.
Dungeon Quest focuses on a clean, understandable loop: choose from distinct classes, enter one of 17 dungeons, defeat bosses, and hunt for rare armor and weapons. Team play is central, while cosmetics add a collection layer around the combat.
It is one of the easiest recommendations for a group of friends because the structure is legible from the beginning. You do not need to understand a huge open world before the fun starts; you need a party, a dungeon, and a reason to improve your build.

Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →8. Treasure Quest
Best for: beginners who want classes, quests, and cooperative loot.
Treasure Quest offers three readable roles—Wizard, Warrior, and Archer—along with cooperative dungeons, quests, bosses, weapon upgrades, and skill improvements. The game is accessible because its progression language is familiar: choose a role, defeat enemies, earn better equipment, and tackle harder content.
The official experience page lists controls for desktop, mobile, Xbox, and PlayStation, but device support can change. It also advertises premium benefits, so it should not be presented as a monetization-free RPG.
9. Elemental Dungeons
Best for: elemental powers, ability builds, and loot-driven dungeon combat.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Elemental Dungeons combines elemental powers with boss fights, quests, mastery, and mythical loot. The appeal is build variety: players are not merely upgrading one weapon, but experimenting with powers and trying to turn them into a stronger combat setup.
Element rosters, balance, premium bonuses, and other live-service details can change frequently. Use the current experience page to confirm what powers and benefits are available before treating any specific list as complete.
10. RPG Simulator
Best for: players who enjoy a direct grind-and-raid progression loop.
RPG Simulator keeps its pitch simple: move through zones, fight monsters, join raids, collect loot and pets, and keep improving. It also includes farming and lists a maximum level of 2001 on its experience page.
That level cap is a page-specific, volatile claim rather than a permanent fact. The game is most useful as a recommendation for players who like conventional Roblox progression—fight, farm, upgrade, repeat—without needing a highly complex narrative framework.
Story and turn-based identity
11. Block Tales
Best for: a story-led, multiplayer turn-based RPG.
Block Tales is one of the strongest cases for a Roblox experience with a distinct presentation and narrative identity. It is a multiplayer turn-based RPG inspired by Paper Mario 64 and EarthBound, using chapter-based updates to deliver its story.
That structure makes it feel closer to a small episodic RPG than to an endlessly generated platform game. The official page lists PC, mobile/tablet, and console play, although the current demo or chapter status should be checked before publication or purchase-related coverage.

12. Nomrial Legends!
Best for: a compact authored fantasy adventure.
Nomrial Legends! opens with an orc ambush and builds around an evil-essence threat, secrets, training, path choice, and a quest to drive back the darkness. Its strongest argument is not scale; it is authored fantasy identity.
Think of it as a smaller story RPG rather than a full MMO. Players who prefer a focused fantasy premise may find that more appealing than a gigantic game dominated by grinding and competing progression systems.
13. Lords of the Multiverse RPG
Best for: players drawn to enormous lore premises.
Lords of the Multiverse RPG presents a modern RPG premise in which players defeat powerful lords to free thousands of universes. The multiverse framing gives the game a memorable narrative hook and a sense of scale that reaches beyond the usual “clear the next dungeon” setup.
Its current live-service state should be checked directly before publication. The premise is the reliable editorial reason to include it; update activity, player availability, and the amount of playable content are more changeable.
Anime-inspired progression and combat
14. A Universal Time
Best for: collecting abilities in a broad combat sandbox.
A Universal Time revolves around collecting and leveling abilities, fighting enemies and bosses, and progressing through an overworld with multiple modes. Its appeal comes from the breadth of its ability-collection sandbox and its mix of anime and game-inspired ideas.
Describe those references as inspirations. They do not establish that the experience is officially licensed, and its available abilities or modes may change with updates.
15. Shindo Life
Best for: ninja-world progression and build variety.
Shindo Life offers explorable worlds, spirits, bosses, randomized abilities, Bloodlines, mentors, progression systems, and minigames. That combination gives it more to do than a single combat arena and lets players pursue different builds within an anime-fantasy setting.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIts structure is grind-heavy, with randomized progression playing a meaningful role. That can make the game exciting for players who enjoy rolling for possibilities and building toward a rare setup, but frustrating for anyone who wants predictable access to every ability.
16. Peroxide
Best for: anime-inspired combat mastery and difficult trials.
Peroxide emphasizes monster fighting, hard trials, ability unlocks, and movement controls. It is a good fit for players who care more about combat execution and learning encounters than about casual collection.
The experience page also mentions premium passive-reward benefits. That detail matters: Peroxide should not be described as a purely skill-based or monetization-free experience, because paid advantages can affect the pace or convenience of progression.

17. Demonfall
Best for: survival tension and a meaningful human-or-demon path.
Demonfall combines combat, exploration, skill growth, and survival framing with a choice between the human and demon paths. That decision is its clearest hook: progression is tied to the kind of character the player chooses to become, not just to a larger damage number.

The experience is based on or inspired by Demon Slayer. Use that wording unless a current primary source establishes official licensing. Its combat-heavy presentation and source-property connection also make the current maturity label worth checking.
Exploration, old-school builds, and survival systems
18. Fantastic Frontier
Best for: exploration with meaningful noncombat activities.
Fantastic Frontier is a useful counterpoint to RPGs built around defeating increasingly strong enemies. It includes monster fights, exploration of new areas, fishing, gathering, loot, weapons, armor, and homes.
The home-building and gathering systems give the world a different rhythm. Players can pursue discovery and preparation rather than treating every minute as a race toward the next boss. Verify current update and availability information before making claims about its live-service status.
19. Swordburst 2
Best for: sword-focused dungeon progression.
Swordburst 2 offers a large RPG world, enemy fighting, rare-item collection, boss progression, and new areas to discover. Its pitch is deliberately focused: explore, fight, improve your equipment, and push farther through a dangerous fantasy world.
It is a clean choice for players who want action combat and loot without needing an elaborate class or social-economy layer. Avoid repeating old floor counts or other update-sensitive numbers without checking the current experience page.
20. INFINITY RPG
Best for: old-school systems, buildcraft, and replayable progression.
INFINITY RPG has one of the densest systems pitches among the smaller titles here. It includes universal dimensions, super bosses, secret artifacts, more than 400 weapons and equipment types, save slots, difficulty settings, enemy mastery, and a compendium.
That combination makes it appealing to players who enjoy cataloguing systems and optimizing a character over time. Its update status should be verified before calling it actively maintained; the systems are the enduring editorial hook, not an assumption about its current development pace.
21. SHADOVIS RPG
Best for: exploration, unusual weapons, and hidden progression.
SHADOVIS RPG sends players through seven realms, where they collect loot, buy gear, and use special weapon moves. Map collectibles can provide permanent XP boosts, giving exploration a mechanical purpose beyond sightseeing.
It works well as a hidden-gem recommendation for players who enjoy finding advantages in the world itself. Do not rely on old like counts, visit counts, or player counts; those figures change and are not needed to explain why the game belongs here.
22. Survival Odyssey
Best for: crafting, bases, tribes, and cooperative survival.
Survival Odyssey sits near the boundary between RPG and survival game. Its systems include open-world exploration, gathering, crafting, base building, tribe conflict, and cooperation. The RPG connection comes from the persistent character-and-world progression around those activities rather than from a conventional class-and-dungeon structure.
It is the best choice on this list for readers who want their adventure to include shelter, resources, territorial pressure, and group survival—not only combat and loot.

23. Slime Slaying Online RPG
Best for: colorful worlds and a lighter boss-and-clan loop.
Slime Slaying Online RPG offers colorful worlds, slime bosses, gear, skills, weapons, and clan rewards. It is a lighter alternative to the grim difficulty of Deepwoken or the grind-heavy intensity of some anime-inspired games.
The experience page’s current world and update state should be rechecked before publication. Its strongest reason for inclusion is its approachable, cheerful structure: fight bosses, improve equipment, develop skills, and earn rewards with a clan.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →24. The Legend of the Bone Sword RPG
Best for: a focused fantasy quest.
The Legend of the Bone Sword RPG centers on reclaiming land from the Bone Lord through battles and adventure. Its scope is smaller than that of a full MMORPG, but that is part of its appeal: it offers a concise fantasy objective instead of an enormous collection of overlapping systems.
Frame it as a focused action quest rather than a platform-sized MMO. It belongs on this list because a strong premise and a clear adventure can make an experience feel complete even when its world is not enormous.

These experiences are free to access through Roblox, but “free to access” does not mean that every game has identical monetization. Individual developers may sell passes, premium benefits, boosts, cosmetics, or other virtual content, and those offerings can change.
Peroxide, Treasure Quest, and Elemental Dungeons explicitly mention premium benefits on their experience pages. Avoid quoting current Robux prices unless you verify each price at publication. A careful general description is: free to access on Roblox, with optional purchases or experience-specific monetization that may affect convenience, progression, cosmetics, or rewards.

Safety, maturity, and fan-inspired settings
There is no single age recommendation that fits all 24 games. Roblox Content Maturity Labels include Minimal, Mild, Moderate, and Restricted categories. Access can depend on age, region, account settings, and creator-provided descriptors, while Restricted experiences are limited to age-checked users aged 18 and older.
Families should open the current experience page, review its maturity label and descriptors, and use Roblox parental controls. Combat-heavy and anime-inspired games may contain themes that are unsuitable for some players even when they are accessible through Roblox.

What to check before publication or play
Because Roblox experiences are live and creator-controlled, currentness matters. Before publishing a version of this list—or committing to a game—verify:
- The experience still resolves to the intended title and creator.
- It is playable in the target geography.
- The promised device and controller support remains accurate.
- Demo, chapter, level-cap, update, dungeon-count, elemental-roster, and premium-benefit claims are current.
- The current maturity label and content descriptors suit the intended audience.
- Any player count, visit count, favorite count, ranking, code, price, or award claim has a date and source.
- Fan-inspired games are not described as licensed properties.
That caution is especially important because Roblox itself notes that popular RPGs can change week to week. A fixed “best” ranking can become stale quickly, while a reader-focused guide remains useful by explaining what each game is trying to do.
Do you need a Roblox gift card?
No. A gift card is not required to access these experiences, so it is an optional gift idea rather than a necessary recommendation. Roblox’s official storefront offers digital gift cards in multiple denominations as well as physical gift-card options, and Roblox documents redemption for account value or Robux.
