There is no verified live list of working general Roblox promo codes here, so don’t assume a code is active unless Roblox or the promotion’s official source confirms it. To redeem a Roblox code, sign in at Roblox.com/redeem, enter it, and select Redeem. Roblox says free Robux codes do not exist.
Are there working Roblox codes right now?
The official Roblox pages reviewed for this article explain how to redeem codes but do not confirm which general promo codes are currently active. That means no particular general promo code can be presented here as working. Promotions can have limits or expiry dates, so check the promotion’s official source and record the date you verified a code before relying on it.
Roblox warns that “Codes for free Robux do not exist.” Treat offers of free Robux from a person, website, or video as scams, not legitimate promo codes. A paid gift card is a separate product, not a free code.
Where to redeem a Roblox code
Roblox’s redemption page accepts gift-card, virtual-item, and promo codes. The code type determines what you receive.
#1 Best Overall
- Redemption: Online only. Robux cards can only be redeemed in a browser at Roblox.com/redeem. They cannot be redeemed in the Roblox mobile app or any video game console.
- Roblox is an immersive platform for connection and communication. Every day, millions of people come to Roblox to create, play, work, learn, and connect with each other in experiences built by our global community of creators.
- Get more with every Roblox Gift Card! From now on, when you redeem a Roblox gift card, you get up to 25% more Robux. Perfect for gaming, creating, and exploring- more Robux means more possibilities!
- Deck out your avatar and unlock additional perks in your favorite experiences when you use Roblox Gift Cards to purchase Robux (Roblox's virtual currency).
- Each gift card grants a free virtual item upon redemption.
- Sign in to the Roblox account that should receive the credit or item.
- Open Roblox.com/redeem.
- Enter the code and select Redeem.
- Look for the confirmation message indicating that the credit or item was added.
Roblox support says redemption is unavailable in the standard mobile app and on consoles. Samsung Galaxy users can redeem through the app’s Redeem tile.
What kind of Roblox code do you have?
| Code type | What it can provide | Important distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Promo or virtual-item code | A promotional item or other stated offer | Check the promotion’s official source for its limits and expiry; the reviewed Roblox pages do not verify a current general-code list. |
| Roblox gift card | Roblox credit that can be used for Robux or other eligible purchases, including a Roblox Plus subscription | It is a paid gift/Robux option, not free Robux. Roblox says gift cards do not expire. |
| Some retailer digital codes, including Amazon digital gift cards | Robux | Roblox’s retailer information describes these as Robux-only, rather than general Roblox credit. |
Roblox says its codes can be redeemed worldwide, with value converted to the currency of the account. Gift-card credit cannot be split. Promotional purchase gift codes are handled by the retailer; Roblox says it does not issue or reissue those codes. Check the retailer’s current terms for a specific purchase.

Why a Roblox code may not work
- A lookalike character was entered: Roblox notes that letters and numbers can be easy to confuse. Try the substitutions it recommends: 0 (zero) for O; 1 (one) for I (capital i); 2 for Z; 5 for S; 6 for G or Q; and 8 for B.
- The code is expired or limited: Check the official promotion details for an expiry date or other restrictions. A code appearing on an unofficial list is not proof that it remains valid.
- You are redeeming on an unsupported platform: Use the website rather than the standard mobile app or a console. Samsung Galaxy users can use the app’s Redeem tile.
- The code is a different type than expected: Gift-card, retailer, promo, and virtual-item codes do not necessarily add the same thing. Confirm the offer and its terms.
If the code still fails after checking the characters and terms, contact Roblox Support.

If you want to give someone Roblox credit or Robux, Roblox offers physical and digital gift cards. Roblox’s retailer information says Amazon digital gift cards redeem for Robux only; check the listing and regional terms before buying. Gift cards are not necessary to redeem a free promo or virtual-item code.
