Choose a role before the story begins
Community guidance recommends choosing a kid role if you are new: these roles are reported to require less combat than adult roles. The guide lists kid roles such as Hungry, Stealthy, and Fighter. Adult roles can take on responsibilities such as healing or defense, depending on the role.
That is a starting suggestion, not a guarantee that one role is always easiest; mechanics can change with updates. Pick a role that suits how you want to help the group, and be ready to adapt during the story.
Use Day 1 to prepare for the nights
The community storyline walkthrough describes Day 1 as an exploration and resource-gathering phase. Search the house for supplies, including hidden snacks that restore energy, before the group is moved to the entrance room for Night 1. The story then progresses through nighttime attacks toward a choice on Day 5.

Because the route details come from community-maintained guides rather than an official walkthrough, treat individual triggers as reported mechanics. If an interaction does not work as described, check the current game for changed prompts or requirements.
Choose an ending on Day 5
The Normal and Final Ending routes differ in both preparation and what you do after the Day 5 choice. The Normal route proceeds through the sewer to an arena fight. The Final route requires completing Uncle Pete’s quest and unlocking a key before choosing it.

Fight Scary Larry in the arena. After the fight, climb out; the community walkthrough reports that police then arrest the remaining villains.
How to unlock and complete the Final Ending
Complete the prerequisite quest and find the key

Finish Uncle Pete’s quest to obtain Louie.

Place Louie in the mousehole. The community guides report that this reveals the key needed for the Final Ending.
Take the car route and finish the objective

On Day 5, select Final Ending.

When Scary Larry appears, go to Uncle Pete’s car.

At Scary Larry’s house, locate the bomb and complete the timed objective by breaking items. Follow the live on-screen instructions; the exact trigger and objective details may change with updates.

The Final Ending sequence and its prerequisites are reported by community-maintained guides, not documented in the official Roblox listing. If the key, car, or objective does not appear, revisit the quest and interaction steps in the current game rather than assuming the route is broken.
