What is SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered about?
The story unfolds in Sandail through two linked protagonists whose lives and events span generations:
- Gustave is a royal heir caught up in political conflict.
- Wil is a young excavator who confronts a threat.
Rather than telling their stories as one uninterrupted sequence, the game uses “History Choice”: players encounter pivotal events from different perspectives. Square Enix describes the remaster as two tales woven together in a watercolor world.
