The standard edition was reported updated in January 2012; the Tegra-optimized Shadowgun THD received its separate “Datadisc” update later, reported in March. These are historical release details, not confirmation that either edition is available or supported today.
What The Leftover added
The expansion continued the game after its original story and brought four new levels. Contemporary coverage also listed a new enemy creature, a new gun and a new soundtrack. The feature lists differ somewhat by report, but together describe a small campaign extension with additional combat and presentation details—not a separate full-length game.
- Four levels: the central addition, cited in January and March 2012 coverage and in the TegraZone description reproduced by TalkAndroid.
- Combat additions: a new enemy and weapon were mentioned in the contemporary reports.
- Movement and interaction: reports describe a roll move and new interaction features. The THD description also names camera shake and bullet trails.
- Presentation and tuning: FrAndroid’s January report mentioned improved graphics and animations; TalkAndroid’s March report also described tuning to difficulty, weapons and enemies.
The feature wording reflects contemporary reports rather than an independently verified, identical checklist for both editions.
When the standard and THD editions received it

The dates describe the historical storefront reports, not current store listings. TalkAndroid’s March article is the clearest indication that THD did not receive the expansion at the same time as the standard edition.

What “THD” meant in this update story
Shadowgun THD was positioned as the Tegra-optimized edition. A historical TegraZone description reproduced by TalkAndroid associated the THD release with Tegra 3-specific effects, including water, rag-doll physics, particle effects, shaders and dynamic textures. Those are claims about the edition’s original hardware positioning; they do not establish how it performs on present-day devices.
Can you still download it?
The cited reports establish that the expansion was distributed through Android Market and Google Play in 2012. They do not establish whether the game or The Leftover can now be obtained from an authorized store, or which current devices support either edition. Treat the old storefront references as historical rather than as live download instructions.
