Defeating this optional enemy gives you the Anti-Charm Picto, the Tissenum weapon for Maelle, several other rewards, and prevents Tisseur from giving Sirène four shields during the later boss fight. Spare Tisseur only if you want the more difficult Sirène encounter or are role-playing a non-aggressive run.
Where to find Tisseur
Tisseur is located in Sirene, in the Sewing Atelier area, beside the Sewing Atelier Expedition Flag. From the flag, take the nearby stairs and turn left toward the room containing the giant Nevron. You can prepare at the Expedition Flag and collect nearby items before starting the encounter.

How to start the Tisseur fight
Approaching Tisseur does not automatically begin combat. Use this interaction sequence:

- At the “Attack anyway?” confirmation, confirm the attack.
Choosing not to attack—or simply leaving Tisseur alone—spares it and lets you proceed without the optional battle.

- You receive its battle rewards before fighting Sirène.
- You obtain Anti-Charm, which grants immunity to Charm.
- Tisseur cannot appear during the Sirène fight to provide its four-shield mechanic.
Anti-Charm is particularly valuable because Sirène relies heavily on Charm effects. The Picto can also be converted into a permanent Lumina effect after it has been mastered through battles. A PlayStationTrophies walkthrough recommends equipping Anti-Charm and completing four battles before using the resulting Anti-Charm Lumina on other characters.
What happens if you spare Tisseur?
Sparing Tisseur lets you skip the optional fight, but it does not remove Tisseur from the wider sequence. During the mandatory Sirène battle, Tisseur can appear periodically and give Sirène four shields. That adds another mechanic to manage and can lengthen the encounter.

You also miss the Tisseur rewards, including Tissenum and Anti-Charm, before facing Sirène. In other words, sparing Tisseur trades a short optional boss fight for a harder version of the upcoming boss fight and fewer preparation rewards.

How to beat Tisseur
Exploit Fire and Light weaknesses
Tisseur is weak to Fire and Light, so these are the best elemental options to prioritize. It resists Ice, Earth, and Dark. Physical, Lightning, and Void damage are listed as neutral. Avoid building your strategy around the resistant elements unless your party has no better alternatives.

Tisseur applies Curse at the beginning of the encounter. A cursed character has approximately eight turns before the effect expires and kills them. When the character dies, the Curse is removed, allowing another party member—or a revived or reserve character—to continue the battle.

Curse does not necessarily end the fight immediately. The remaining party and reserve characters can keep fighting, but you should treat the encounter as a damage race and aim to defeat Tisseur before multiple characters reach the limit.
Learn the defensive inputs
Tisseur uses attacks that target the whole party and include sequences requiring Jump, Dodge, or Parry inputs. Missing these defenses can quickly compound the pressure from Curse, so prioritize survival while using Fire and Light attacks to finish the fight quickly.
Does killing Tisseur change the ending?
There is no verified evidence that this decision changes the game’s ending. The documented effects are local to the Sirene sequence: Tisseur’s rewards, access to Anti-Charm, and whether Sirène can use the associated four-shield mechanic.
Final choice
For most players, attack and kill Tisseur. The fight is optional, but its rewards are useful and Anti-Charm directly helps against Sirène. More importantly, defeating Tisseur removes the four-shield complication from the mandatory boss encounter. Spare it only for a self-imposed challenge, a role-playing choice, or if you specifically want to face the harder Sirène version.
The game’s free “Thank You” Update released on December 12, 2025, and the official Steam news listing currently identifies Patch v1.5.6. No reviewed official update note documents a change to the Tisseur choice, its rewards, or the Sirène shield interaction.
