When did SILENT HILL f come out?
Konami announced September 25, 2025, as the release date, and confirmed the game launched that day. Its original release announcement is available from Konami, with the launch notice also distinguishing the editions offered at release.
Is SILENT HILL f available to preorder?
No. Preorders began June 4, 2025, ahead of launch. Any preorder bonuses or early-access terms described at that time were tied to the historical offer; they should not be assumed to come with a current purchase.
Konami’s original preorder announcement listed a White Sailor School Uniform for Shimizu Hinako, Omamori: Peony, and an item pack as Standard early-purchase bonuses. The Digital Deluxe offer included outfits, soundtrack samples, an artbook, and 48-hour early access. Konami also said a Deluxe Upgrade could be purchased after launch. Check the live listing for your platform and region to see which content is currently offered.

What platforms is SILENT HILL f on?
Konami announced and launched the game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games, and Microsoft Windows. The Xbox listing names NeoBards Entertainment Ltd. as the developer. Availability, edition names, and store offers may differ by platform and territory.
Which editions can you buy?
At launch, Konami identified a physical Day One Edition and digital Standard and Deluxe editions. Current listings are not identical across stores, so use the platform’s own page to confirm the edition and contents before buying.

PlayStation 5
The US PlayStation Store listing, observed October 8, 2026, showed the Standard Edition at $69.99 and Deluxe Edition at $79.99. It also listed Standard and Deluxe Dual Packs and a Deluxe Upgrade. The US Xbox Store lists SILENT HILL f for Xbox Series X|S and PC, with a September 25, 2025 release date. Its listing displayed Standard at $69.99 and Deluxe at $79.99; prices and offers can change. Check the US Xbox Store listing for current details.

What the Deluxe Edition adds
Konami’s preorder announcement described digital Deluxe extras including outfits, soundtrack samples, and an artbook. It also included 48-hour early access as part of the pre-release offer, which is no longer relevant after launch. Because current store pages can present upgrades and bundles separately, check the specific listing rather than assuming every Deluxe-related purchase includes the same items.

The story is set in 1960s Japan and follows high-school student Shimizu Hinako in fog-covered Ebisugaoka. Konami describes it as the first SILENT HILL series entry set in Japan. Ryukishi07 wrote the narrative, and kera designed the characters and creatures. Silent Hill series producer Motoi Okamoto described the development mission as: “Find the beauty in terror.” His statement appeared in the PlayStation Blog announcement on June 4, 2025.
