The schedule below was reported for the September 2025 launch. Times are local to the listed time zone, and the storefront distinction matters: in several regions, Steam and Epic Games unlocked later than consoles and Windows PC.

GameSpot reported these regional storefront times on September 22, 2025. Its schedule gives the same PT, ET and BRT times across platforms, then later times for Steam and Epic in the listed European and Asian regions. The different labels reflect reported platform timing, not a separate global release date.
When did Deluxe Edition early access begin?
Digital Deluxe Edition pre-orders received access 48 hours before the corresponding launch time, according to GameSpot’s September 2025 schedule. That put the first listed unlock at September 22, 2025, at 9 p.m. PT, followed by September 23 in the later-listed regions. The early-access timing followed the same regional and platform schedule as launch.

Could you preload SILENT HILL f?
PC Gamer reported during launch week that Steam preloading was available and described an observed download of about 44 GB. The report said preloading appeared to work for Standard and Deluxe users; this was an observation, not an official guarantee for every player or edition.
Konami’s official announcements did not specify a preload start time or download size. The available reporting does not establish that Epic Games, PlayStation, Xbox, or every edition had the same preload availability, and the observed 44 GB should not be treated as a current file-size specification.

Which platforms and editions were available?
Konami announced SILENT HILL f for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games and Microsoft Windows. Its official launch announcement described the game as a psychological horror story set in 1960s Japan, following Shimizu Hinako in Ebisugaoka, with a narrative by Ryukishi07. Konami called it “the first entry set in Japan for the SILENT HILL series.”
Konami said the launch offered physical Day One, Digital Standard and Digital Deluxe editions. The digital Deluxe edition included outfits, a mini soundtrack and a digital artbook; Konami also mentioned a post-launch Deluxe Upgrade. The US PlayStation listing shows the PS5 game, Deluxe Edition and Deluxe Upgrade, with a release date of September 25, 2025. Store options and availability can differ by region and change over time.

How did the release timing differ by platform?
For the launch schedule, the useful distinction was not just console versus PC: GameSpot reported separate unlocks for Steam and Epic Games in several regions. PC Gamer also published a city-based schedule for locations including Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, London, Berlin, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney and Wellington. The regional table above preserves the time-zone labels and storefront split from GameSpot’s reported schedule rather than suggesting every PC storefront unlocked together.
