Fangamer currently lists Hollow Knight: Silksong’s physical editions for planned shipment on October 16, 2026—about a month before Grand Theft Auto VI’s official November 19 launch. That makes the dates an amusing calendar comparison, not evidence that either game’s schedule changed because of the other.

Fangamer announced the Silksong editions on May 28, 2026, saying, “Hollow Knight: Silksong physical editions are coming, and preorders are open today!” Fangamer announcement Rockstar’s June 24 announcement set GTA VI’s date at November 19; its support information, updated August 18, describes the boxed-code format. These are different kinds of dates: one is a seller’s planned shipment date, the other the publisher’s stated game launch date.
What comes with Silksong’s physical edition
The Fangamer announcement describes a 32-page manual and a foldout map of Pharloom. The live product listing calls the included item a 9-by-12-inch poster illustrated by Rubén Molina. Those descriptions come from the announcement and listing respectively; the listing is the clearest source for the current product specification.
The Sea of Sorrow DLC is not included on the game media. Fangamer says it will be available to download for free, so the physical copy should not be treated as a complete-on-cart or complete-on-disc edition that contains the DLC. Fangamer product listing

The official pages cited here do not say that Silksong’s physical edition was postponed because of GTA VI, or that GTA VI caused a change to the boxed edition. The October 16 and November 19 dates establish only the timing currently stated by Fangamer and Rockstar. Without an attributable statement linking the schedules, “delayed by GTA 6” works as a joke about crowded release calendars, not as a factual explanation.

What to check before ordering
- Confirm the platform variant and whether it matches your console.
- Use Fangamer’s current listing to check the planned ship date; it can change and does not establish dates for other retailers or regions.
- If having DLC on the physical media matters to you, note that Sea of Sorrow is a separate free download rather than content on the game media.
- For GTA VI, distinguish a boxed purchase from a disc: Rockstar describes the physical box as containing a download code.
