What playing Skateboard Knight involves
The knight rides along three horizontal lanes and can move up or down between them. Attacks happen automatically: the knight slashes approaching enemies that share the current lane. Lane positioning is the main input
This setup is intentionally narrower than a conventional action RPG where you aim every swing. You are deciding which lane to occupy, when to shift to another lane, and whether moving for a drop is worth leaving a safer or more productive position. The three-choice format creates a clear decision point without promising a fixed skill tree. A run could ask you to strengthen a statistic, add an elemental effect, or select another available skill, depending on what appears. The available account does not list every buff, explain rarity tiers, or confirm whether choices persist between runs. It also does not establish whether the money dropped by enemies is spent during a stage, between areas, or in another menu. Those details matter to long-term planning but were not demonstrated.
Waves, bosses, and onward progress
In the previewed structure, enemy waves grow in number before a stage boss. Defeating the boss lets the player move on to another area. The resulting loop is direct: reposition to meet enemies and collect drops, improve the knight as levels arrive, then push through the wave sequence to the boss.
The demo’s reported chapter reach gives a sense of its availability, not a promise about the final campaign. Reaching Chapter 4 in a public demo does not reveal how many chapters the finished game will contain, whether chapters branch, or how a failed run is handled. The preview also does not establish the total number of areas, boss roster, enemy variety, run length, difficulty modes, or endgame systems. What playing Sea Sniffers involves
Sea Sniffers starts on land, where the player talks to NPCs and receives objectives such as catching particular fish. The player then sends a seal out to sea. Underwater, the seal explores within the reel’s current maximum length and uses a net to catch fish. The preview writer observed that rarer fish took more effort and that some catches involved combat.
From a catch to a new objective
New catches are added to a collection dex. After an exploration session, the player can call the seal back, deliver items needed for quests, receive rewards, and buy upgrades. The preview also describes gradually unlocking additional areas. Together, these activities create a loop of accepting an objective, exploring for fish and quest items, returning to shore, and improving access or equipment before setting out again.
This loop has several overlapping goals. In Sea Sniffers, the immediate question is logistical: where should the seal explore, which fish or quest item is worth pursuing, and when should you return to land? The collection dex and NPC requests give the player reasons to target specific catches.
