Is Sniper Elite III Ultimate Edition worth it?
It is the more complete choice if you want the base game plus additional campaign content and weapons. The strongest reason to choose it over a base-game listing is the three-part Save Churchill campaign. The weapon packs broaden the bundle, but their value depends on whether you want additional equipment; they do not change the game’s central appeal of stealth, route choice and ballistics.

Whether it is worth buying depends on your platform and interest in the extras. Compare the exact contents of the listing you plan to buy, especially on Switch, where the publisher’s description uses different wording from the console listings. Current prices were not established here, so there is no reliable price-based value verdict.
What does Ultimate Edition include?
Rebellion says Ultimate Edition includes the base game, all three Save Churchill campaign parts, and six weapon packs. The US PlayStation and Xbox listings describe the same nine DLC packs. Their descriptions also mention free updates to the main game, but those are listed separately from the nine DLC packs.

Which platform or edition should you choose?
Start with the platform you intend to play on, then confirm that its listing includes the extras you want. The US PlayStation and Xbox listings both specify the three Save Churchill missions and six weapon packs. Nintendo UK says its Switch package includes all DLC and refers to four extra campaign missions, a difference in description that makes the actual platform listing especially important. Steam’s cited page is for the base game and does not verify an Ultimate Edition bundle.
Release dates also differ by platform and territory. The US PlayStation listing gives March 10, 2015 for PS4; the US Xbox listing gives March 13, 2015 and lists Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Does the multiplayer content make a difference?
The console listings document multiplayer and co-op features, but their existence does not establish current player populations or whether every online service remains functional. The US PlayStation listing names six multiplayer maps, Capture the Flag and the Twilight Strike co-op mission.
