The Marvel’s Spider-Man limited-edition PS4 Pro is the red, 1TB “Amazing Red” console with a Spider-Man emblem. Sony’s original North American bundle included a matching DualShock 4, the game on Blu-ray, and digital content—but an unboxed or used listing may not include every original item or have usable codes.
What is the Spider-Man PS4 Pro limited edition?
Sony announced the bundle on July 19, 2018, for release alongside Marvel’s Spider-Man on September 7, 2018. It is a customized PS4 Pro finished in Amazing Red with the Spider-Man emblem, and its stated drive capacity is 1TB. That is the drive’s listed capacity, not 1TB of free user space: system-reserved space reduces the available capacity, as Sony notes in its PS4 Pro specifications announcement.
What came with the original bundle?
Sony’s announcement describes the original package as the customized console, matching DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller, Marvel’s Spider-Man on Blu-ray disc, and digital content. The accompanying Best Buy product sheet specifies that content as three chapters of The City That Never Sleeps, a Spidey Suit Pack, five extra Skill Points, early unlock of a Spider-Drone Gadget, a custom theme, and a PSN avatar.
Those are original bundle contents, not a guarantee about an unboxed unit. Ask the seller to confirm which physical items are actually included. Digital codes may have been redeemed, and a previously printed code may not be usable by a new owner. The product sheet says the vertical stand was sold separately.

What model number is the Spider-Man PS4 Pro?
The Best Buy product sheet identifies the US bundle model as CUH-7115B. For a US listing, compare that number with the label on the console and check that the red finish and Spider-Man emblem match the edition. A model number alone does not confirm the console’s condition or the contents of the listing.
What can the PS4 Pro do with the game?
Sony described PS4 Pro as supporting 4K-quality image output and HDR, while remaining compatible with PS4 titles. In its bundle announcement, Sony said Marvel’s Spider-Man could display dynamic 2160p resolution on a 4K television using temporal injection; on an HD television, Sony said supersampling could improve the image. This is Sony’s description of the game’s output behavior, not a claim of native 4K rendering.

What should I check when buying an unboxed Spider-Man PS4 Pro?
The original bundle’s advertised contents and 2018 launch price do not establish what a particular seller has, whether that unit works, or what it should cost today. Evaluate the specific listing rather than assuming it is complete because it uses the limited-edition name.

- Solid reliability that can last many years without any kind of failure/error. Yes, this is a fact about SSDs in general. They’re very reliable to the extent that they can last too long (more than 5 years) without a single failure. This is very important advantage that interests serious players who care too much about their data from a sudden failure.
- High speed improvement that may exceed 60% as compared to PS4 Pro stock HDD. This is quite impressive. PS4 Pro operating system will load noticeably faster, games and apps will take remarkably shorter time to load, and the data transfer between SSD and the external storage device is much higher, especially if you have an external SSD.
- Edition and model: Request a photo of the console label; for the US edition, compare it with CUH-7115B. Check the red finish and Spider-Man emblem.
- Operation: Ask whether the console powers on, reads discs, connects to the network, and has been reset. These are checks to request, not established facts about any individual listing.
- Physical contents: Confirm whether the matching controller, game disc, required cables, and original packaging are included. The vertical stand was a separate purchase.
- Digital extras: Ask whether codes are present and whether they have been redeemed; do not treat an old code as a usable entitlement for the next owner.
- Purchase terms: Check the console’s region, the seller’s return terms, and the asking price against comparable current listings.
What was the launch price?
Sony announced a US MSRP of $399.99 and a Canadian MSRP of $499.99 for the September 7, 2018 launch. These are historical launch prices, not current resale values. The available sources do not establish a production total, sales count, or present-day market price for this edition.
