Soulframe’s Weapons wiki page groups weapons into seven arts: Short Blades, Long Blades, Polearms, Shields, Flyblades, Bows, and Magick. Treat that as the page’s taxonomy, not a confirmed complete roster for the live game. Digital Extremes’ Preludes 16 update added named weapons and a way to alter weapon Tempers, so the wiki’s examples are best read as a snapshot rather than a definitive current list.
What weapon types does the Soulframe Wiki list?
The Soulframe Wiki Weapons page describes seven weapon arts and also names two weapon types: primary and sidearm. The categories below reflect that community page; they do not establish that the live game has no other categories.
| Weapon art | Named examples on the wiki page |
|---|---|
| Short Blades | Rivt-II, Royal Tines, Unsula, Nettle, Virdigris, Grinn, Witan |
| Long Blades | Sollos-I, Igne Mora, Vetch, Wulder, Dewelion, Tessard, Stultin, Nurash, Marrow’s Bane |
| Polearms | Vasp-IV, Rook, Gathannan, Duhk Halic |
| Shields | Oryn-Umbr, Bog & Myrtle |
| Flyblades | Skílter, Precklies |
| Bows | Thistle, Blitzel, Juniper |
| Magick | Odiac, Gwylen, The Erstroot |
The page also uses the labels primary and sidearm, but the available information does not map every example to one of those slots. It likewise does not verify where to acquire each weapon.
What changed in Preludes 16?
Digital Extremes’ Preludes 16 update names three newer weapons: Grimana, the Ode’n Gystalt, and the Wreath Heavy mace. Their appearance in the official update is a reason not to treat the wiki’s named examples as an exhaustive live-game roster.

The update also describes Tuvulkane as a way to alter a weapon’s Tempers. Dismantling weapons that have Tempers builds Tuvulkane’s understanding of them; after enough dismantling, Tuvulkane can permanently add that Temper to other weapons. The update does not establish a complete current weapon list or acquisition route for each weapon.
How can you compare Soulframe weapons?
A separate community-maintained weapons index displayed 25 entries when reviewed. It provides selected comparison fields, including class, damage label, attack, stagger, and rarity indicators. Those are database-displayed values, not official or independently verified rankings, and the entry count should not be read as the confirmed total in the live game.
Rank #2
- Udderly hilarious board game for family and friends game nights. Fun for big groups of 4-20+ players
- Easy to learn, quick to play and endlessly repayable board game. This version comes with 20 extra questions
- Think the same to win the game. Flip over a question and guess what your family and friends are thinking

Use those fields to narrow a comparison, rather than to declare a universal best weapon: the available sources do not provide a sourced ranking, a complete set of criteria, or verified acquisition details for every weapon. The Soulframe Tools reference advertises additional fields such as origin, requirements, and location, but specific values for those fields are not established here.
