The event ended February 5, 2026, so its limited-time pass and activities are no longer available. Epic’s lineup included Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny and Butters, plus a free quest-based pass, a new point of interest and a five-player playlist.
Which South Park characters came to Fortnite?
Epic named five characters for the Item Shop: Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny and Butters. The announcement confirmed that they would appear in the Shop; it did not state that their outfits were part of the free pass. Epic’s January 8, 2026 announcement is the primary source for the collaboration’s confirmed content.
What was included in the South Park collaboration?
Cartmanland and Quints
The update added Cartmanland as a point of interest and introduced Quints, a five-person playlist set on the Golden Coast. These were separate from the character Shop lineup and the quest-based pass.
Three gameplay items
- Stick of Truth: controlled the Storm.
- Cheesy Poofs: healed players or damaged enemies.
- Kenny’s Respawn Token: automatically rebooted a player.
How did the free Born in Chaos Pass work?
The Born in Chaos Pass cost no V-Bucks. Epic said players could unlock its 13 South Park-themed items by completing South Park Quests. Examples included the Backpack of CRED Back Bling, Terrance and Phillip Pickaxe, and Cheesy Poofs Rocketship Emote. Completing every quest awarded the Imaginationland Airship Glider.
#1 Best Overall

- Design: From the cartoon comedy. The plush doll based on cartoon characters is very cute.
- Uses: Suitable for a variety of scenes, can be placed on sofas, desks, beds, etc., as cute ornaments.
- Gifts: Be it holiday/birthday/everyday gifts for family or friends, very unique and creative.
Epic announced the event for January 9 through February 5, 2026. That window has passed, so the pass and its quest rewards should be treated as expired limited-time content rather than something players can still unlock.
Was South Park only a rumor?
No. The rumor phase is over: a Fortnite teaser on January 6 prompted contemporary coverage of possible South Park content, and Epic officially confirmed the collaboration on January 8 before the content arrived in-game on January 9. GameSpot’s January 6 coverage described details as leaks or rumors at the time.

Epic’s later court complaint says information about the unannounced collaboration was posted on January 6. That timeline comes from a party’s court filing, not a court finding about the broader allegations in the complaint. Epic Games v. Hayden Cohen, filed March 5, 2026.
Is the Stick of Truth a Fortnite game purchase?
No. In this collaboration, the Stick of Truth was a gameplay item inside Fortnite. South Park: The Stick of Truth is also the title of a separate 2014 video game; GameSpot identified that game as the reference behind the Fortnite item. The standalone game is not a Fortnite item and was not required to play the collaboration.
