Check your connection and report the symptoms, but treat a server outage as unverified unless 1047 Games posts a relevant notice or support confirms it.
First, check which Splitgate you’re playing
The troubleshooting guidance below applies to SPLITGATE: Arena Reloaded. The original Splitgate is a separate case: its hosted servers shut down in mid-August 2025, and the game moved to peer-to-peer play, according to the official Arena Reloaded FAQ. Don’t assume Arena Reloaded’s server guidance explains behavior in the original game.
Do visual bugs or failed invites mean the servers are down?
Not by themselves. The official materials reviewed do not provide live server status or identify a current incident affecting visual state or invitations. A visual problem can have causes other than connectivity, and a failed invite alone does not establish a server outage. The available official guidance is general network troubleshooting and a route for reporting bugs.
There is relevant historical context, but it is not confirmation of today’s cause. In its December 19, 2025 hotfix, 1047 Games said it fixed occasional matchmaking into the wrong region and added a notice for when network services were unavailable. Those changes show that region and network-service issues have been addressed before; they do not say that the visual or invite symptoms described here are ongoing or related.

Try connection checks that match the symptom
The Arena Reloaded network troubleshooting guide, updated April 29, 2026, offers checks for connection problems. They may help identify a local network issue, but they are not proof that the game’s servers caused a visual bug or invitation failure.
- Possible Wi-Fi interference: If practical, test with a wired Ethernet connection. The support guide recommends Ethernet to reduce the chance of local wireless interference; this is a connection check, not a fix for a confirmed rendering or server-side invite problem.
- Transient home-network problem: Power-cycle your router or gateway, then try again. This may help with a local network issue, but it cannot establish whether a game service is unavailable.
- VPN or proxy in use: Temporarily disable it if your network permits and retry. The guide suggests checking VPNs and proxies; don’t change a managed or required connection without permission.
- Connection or name-resolution trouble: The guide says changing to a public DNS may sometimes help connect to Arena Reloaded servers. It likely will not resolve high ping or packet loss, so DNS is not a universal fix.
The guide’s Windows-specific instructions also mention IPv6 and DNS settings. Those are not general, confirmed remedies for visual rendering or invite logic, so avoid changing them as a first response to those symptoms.

Report the visual bug or invite failure
For Arena Reloaded, the official FAQ says to open the social menu from the main menu, select the question-mark icon, then choose “Report A Bug.” You can also use the online official FAQ and reporting page. The support center provides a “Submit a request” option.
When you report it, include your platform, the time it happened, your region, whether invites fail across platforms, and whether other online features still work. The sources do not present these details as a required checklist; they are useful context for support to investigate.

What the published server regions tell you
The Arena Reloaded FAQ lists US West, US East, EU Central, Southeast Asia, Oceania, and South America, while noting that regions may change. The network guide says distance from server regions may contribute to connection issues. These published regions are not live-status indicators and do not show whether a particular region is currently having an outage.
