The hardest achievements in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl are not all hard for the same reason. Miracle hoarder demands every artifact and can be affected by a documented tracking issue; Flash Royal is a broad hunt for armor and gear enhancement flash drives, with community reports of missables. Low Steam unlock rates help identify rare achievements, but they are not a difficulty ranking. Plan around collectible scope, story transitions, and achievement tracking—not rarity alone.
What makes an achievement hard in STALKER 2?
Consider four separate hurdles when deciding what needs preparation:

- Unlock rarity: Steam’s global percentages show how many players have unlocked an achievement on that platform, not how difficult it is or why players have not earned it.
- Collectible scope: Some achievements require a large set of items spread across the Zone.
- Missability: A story transition or choice may make an objective harder or impossible to complete on a given playthrough, according to third-party guides.
- Tracking reliability: A condition may appear complete without the achievement unlocking, as documented for some achievements or versions.
GSC Game World groups achievements into storyline, gameplay, research, collectible, and secret categories. It also states in its official achievements support article (November 15, 2024): “Important: Playing a modded version of the game disables achievements.”
How to get Miracle hoarder
Requirement: Collect all artifacts. Steam’s description asks, “What about arch-artifacts?” The achievement is demanding because it calls for a complete collection, and a quest reward that looks like a standard artifact may not count toward the standard set.

Check for quest-specific artifact variants
GSC’s February 2, 2026 known-issue article explains that some quest-reward artifacts have unique descriptions or internal IDs. Its example is the Crystal Thorn from Professor Dvupalov’s bunker: the regular version must be found in the Zone. If the achievement has not unlocked, check whether a quest reward is standing in for a standard artifact you still need.
Refresh the collection tracker
- Make a manual save before changing your inventory.
- Drop all artifacts or move them to a stash.
- Pick them back up and check whether the achievement unlocks.
This is GSC’s recommended troubleshooting path for the issue it documents. It does not establish that every artifact-related or platform-specific tracking problem is fixed.

How to get Flash Royal
Requirement: Gather all armor and gear enhancement flash drives. The challenge is the breadth of the collectible hunt and the difficulty of knowing which upgrades you have missed.
A TrueAchievements community guide describes the search as large and hard to track, and reports missables. Its suggested way to identify missing blueprints is to inspect upgrade parts on the corresponding weapon or armor. Treat that as community guidance, not an official guarantee that it covers every version or playthrough.

Use a current checklist as you find upgrades, and keep manual saves before major story transitions. An XboxAchievements roadmap also advises planning for missable side missions, endings, and collectibles; because it is a third-party roadmap, its missability advice may not reflect later patches.

Steam showed 76 achievements in its list at the time of access. In that same snapshot, global unlock rates were 1.4% for Voices of the Zone, 1.5% for Miracle hoarder, 1.6% for Bingo, 1.8% for Stalker’s smarts, and 1.9% for Flash Royal. These are volatile Steam rates, not difficulty scores, and they do not describe other platforms.

GSC’s Patch 1.1 notes list fixes for issues that prevented The four Winds and Bingo from unlocking, as well as an issue affecting Epic Games Store achievement unlocks. If an achievement does not appear after you meet its requirement, check that the game is updated and consult the official support information for your platform before repeating a lengthy task.

How to plan an achievement-focused playthrough
- Keep manual saves before major story transitions. They give you a recovery point if a side objective or collectible becomes unavailable.
- Track broad collectible sets outside the game. For Flash Royal, note each upgrade as you find it and inspect the relevant weapon or armor when checking for gaps.
- Stay unmodded while earning achievements. GSC says modded play disables them.
- Check official support notes before replaying a long objective. A documented tracking issue may have a specific workaround, while a patch may have addressed other unlock problems.
