GSC Game World’s Patch 1.0.3 notes list fixes for several main and side missions, crashes, and a missing-save issue after a hard reboot on PC or Xbox. The save note says the issue was fixed; it does not promise to restore saves that were already missing or corrupted.
What did STALKER 2 Patch 1.0.3 change?
GSC describes Patch 1.0.3 as an update covering main- and side-mission fixes, reduced input lag, and other improvements. Its official notes group changes under crashes and memory leaks, controls, missions, AI, balance, and saves. The notes are release-note claims, not independent confirmation of how the game behaves after installation.
The official support page currently displays March 10, 2025. Search-result material has associated the announcement with December 3, 2024, so the exact first rollout date across platforms is unclear. Read GSC Game World’s Patch 1.0.3 notes.
Did the update fix missing saves?
GSC says it fixed an issue where player saves could go missing after a hard reboot of a PC or Xbox. That is the scope of the note: it does not say that saves already missing or corrupted will be recovered, nor does it quantify how many players were affected.

Which missions did Patch 1.0.3 fix?
The release notes name fixes involving these main and side missions:
- In Search of Past Glory
- On the Edge: a fix addressed Hamster and Ricochet dying while trying to enter a building.
- In the Name of Science
- Dangerous Liaisons: a fix addressed a situation where the player could lock themselves.
- King of the Hill
- A Heavy Burden
- Legends of the Zone
- Back to the Slag Heap: a fix addressed NPCs blocking doors.
These are the missions and examples called out in the notes, not a claim that every possible mission issue was resolved.

What changed for mouse and keyboard?
To reduce input lag for keyboard-and-mouse players, GSC says mouse smoothing and acceleration were disabled by default. It also set camera sensitivity to 25% and aim sensitivity to 15%. These are the defaults described in the patch notes; the page does not quantify the resulting reduction in input lag.

The update includes fixes for multiple ACCESS_VIOLATION_ERROR and LowLevelFatalError crashes, alongside other crash and memory-leak work. GSC does not provide an impact count or a measurement of how many crashes the changes prevent.
