There is not enough independent platform testing here to make a performance comparison or a firsthand recommendation. A Caracal Games developer said in a Reddit AMA that the Switch build targeted 30 fps, that occasional drops might occur, and suggested docked mode. Those are developer comments, not independently measured results. Comparable verified results for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series are not established by the cited material. Claims about resolution, frame-rate stability, loading, controls, visual detail, or patch parity should therefore be based on testing of the specific platform and build, not inferred from those comments.

Caracal Games described a physical companion manga, Star Overdrive – Beyond the Stars, as a 180-page Volume 0 that expands parts of the story and includes a prequel event not in the game. A developer said it was available on Amazon; that statement does not establish its current listing, regional availability, or format. It is separate from the digital OST & Manga DLC listed by Nintendo and Steam.
