To collect all four Dwarf Scrolls, use tilling in the Mines for Dwarf Scrolls I, II, and IV, and defeat the monsters listed for each scroll—especially for Dwarf Scroll III, which is obtained from monster drops rather than tilling. The drops are uncommon, so target a repeatable elevator floor or the right monster group instead of expecting a guaranteed find.
Dwarf Scroll I: Till soil or defeat eligible monsters
Dwarf Scroll I, identified by its red bow, can be found by tilling soil on any floor of the Mines or in Skull Cavern. The Stardew Valley Wiki lists a 0.16% chance from tilling and 0.5% chances from several monster drops, but the available item reference does not name those monsters. A useful repeatable tilling route is to revisit floors 15, 55, or 95 by elevator and hoe the soil near the entrance when present.

Dwarf Scroll II: Farm frozen-zone monsters or floor 15
Dwarf Scroll II has a green ribbon. The Stardew Valley Wiki lists a 0.1% chance from tilling soil on Mines floors 1–39, and a 0.5% drop chance from each of these monsters:
- Blue Slimes
- Dust Sprites
- Frost Bats
- Ghosts
Floor 15 has tillable soil near the entrance, making it a practical elevator stop for repeat attempts at Scroll II; the same spot can also yield Scroll I. Dust Sprites, Frost Bats, and Ghosts appear in the Mines’ frozen zone, so those floors are an alternative if you prefer fighting to tilling.

Dwarf Scroll III: Hunt the listed monsters
Dwarf Scroll III, marked by a blue rope, is listed as a monster drop rather than a tilling find. The Stardew Valley Wiki lists a 1.5% chance from Blue Slimes and 0.5% from each of the following:
- Purple, Red, Copper, Iron, and Tiger Slimes
- Lava Bats and Lava Crabs
- Squid Kids and Blue Squids
- Shadow Brutes and Shadow Shamans
- Metal Heads and Spiders
Several eligible monsters are found in the lava zone, including Lava Bats, Lava Crabs, Squid Kids, Shadow Brutes, Shadow Shamans, and Metal Heads. Frozen-zone monsters also provide some Scroll III opportunities. Which route is practical depends on how far you have progressed and which enemies you can reach consistently.
Dwarf Scroll IV: Till floor 95 or target eligible monsters
Dwarf Scroll IV has a gold chain. The Stardew Valley Wiki lists a 0.2% chance from tilling soil on Mines floor 80 or higher and a 0.1% drop chance from eligible monsters. It excludes Skeletons, Serpents, Wilderness Golems, Carbon Ghosts, Iridium Bats, Iridium Crabs, and Haunted Skulls. Floor 95 has tillable soil near the entrance and is a repeatable elevator stop for Scroll IV; it can also yield Scroll I.
