At Hell’s Gate is a DOOM-inspired mini-quest for Starfield, created by Kinggath Creations and presented by Bethesda Game Studios. It is existing content, not a newly announced quest: Bethesda’s listing gives its creation date as July 12, 2024, and its latest update as February 11, 2026.
What is the DOOM quest in Starfield?
The Creation is called At Hell’s Gate. Bethesda describes its premise as a mercenary band escaping an encounter with something “beyond evil,” followed by an investigation to stop a vile force from invading the player’s universe. Bethesda calls it a DOOM-inspired mini-quest and credits Kinggath Creations as its creator, with Bethesda Game Studios presenting it. Bethesda’s official Creation listing has the quest details; the company also included it in its 2025 Creations roundup.

Approach an SSNN broadcast pillar in a major city. Bethesda names New Atlantis, Cydonia, Akila City, and Neon as examples of locations where the quest can become available.

What rewards does the quest offer?
- A new spacesuit based on DOOM’s Praetor Suit.
- The Super Shotgun.
- The Crucible Blade.
- Six plushies that can be crafted as decorations for outposts, homes, and ships. Find the plushies to unlock crafting, then use the Industrial Workbench and Decorate Mode.
The plushies are in-game items; Bethesda’s listing does not describe them as physical merchandise.
