Stellar Blade requires 75 GB of storage on PC, according to PlayStation and Steam. On PS5, the often-cited 35 GB figure came from an early February 2024 report; a later pre-release report listed 30.448 GB for version 1.001.000. Neither figure confirms the game’s current PS5 size after updates.
How much space does Stellar Blade need?
| Platform and report | Size | What the figure describes |
|---|---|---|
| PS5, February 25, 2024, Insider Gaming | About 35 GB | An approximate download size inferred from leaked box art before release. The report also said disc buyers would need to download an update during installation. Insider Gaming. |
| PS5, February 24, 2024, Twisted Voxel | 30.448 GB | A pre-release PlayStation Network backend listing for version 1.001.000. It is a version-specific report, not a current measurement. Twisted Voxel. |
| PC, PlayStation specifications accessed in 2026 | 75 GB | Official storage requirement for both minimum and recommended configurations. PlayStation. |
| PC, Steam listing accessed in 2026 | 75 GB | Available-space requirement for both minimum and recommended specifications. Steam. |
Is Stellar Blade 35 GB on PS5?
That number traces to an early report published February 25, 2024, based on leaked PS5 box art. It was an approximate, pre-release download-size report—not a verified measurement of the game today. A separate report, published one day earlier, cited a PlayStation Network backend listing of 30.448 GB for version 1.001.000. The reports refer to different evidence and should not be treated as a single definitive size.
Both PS5 numbers are historical launch-era reports. They do not establish how much space the current PS5 game takes after updates, and a current official PS5 size is not established by the available figures.
How much storage does Stellar Blade need on PC?
Plan for 75 GB of available storage. PlayStation lists that amount for both minimum and recommended PC specifications, and Steam gives the same available-space requirement for both tiers.
