The date is confirmed, but Nintendo’s official pages do not specify an exact eShop unlock time or time zone. The games are already available; there is no upcoming launch time to count down to.
When did Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 release on Switch?
The combined release arrived on October 2, 2025. Nintendo lists that date on its US store page, UK game page, and Singapore game page. Nintendo of America’s launch trailer, published that day, described the games as available now.

What time did the eShop release?
Nintendo’s cited announcements and product pages confirm the calendar date, but do not state an eShop unlock hour or time zone. They therefore do not establish that the game unlocked at midnight local time, at a particular US or UK hour, or simultaneously worldwide. The exact start time is not confirmed by these official sources.
Because October 2, 2025 has passed, this is a historical release-time question. The listed date should not be converted into a precise clock time: a date alone does not show when an individual regional eShop made a title playable.
