Two Nintendo Switch 2 game discounts were reported at Amazon U.S. on October 7, 2026: Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition for $39.99, down from $69.99, and Mario Tennis Fever for $49.99, down from $69.99. Those are reported prices, not guaranteed live offers, so check the retailer’s current listing for price, stock, format, and edition before buying. The available evidence does not confirm a current Zelda game sale; Nintendo’s $9.99 Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack is a separate upgrade option, not a discounted full game.

Are Zelda games discounted on Switch 2?
A current discount on a Zelda game is not established by the available listings. Nintendo does list a U.S. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack for $9.99. This is an upgrade pack, not the full game: you need the underlying Switch game available on your Switch 2 system. Nintendo says active Switch Online + Expansion Pack members can access the upgrade at no additional cost, subject to the membership and game requirements. See Nintendo Support’s upgrade-pack details for current eligibility and purchase information.

Where else can you find Switch 2 discounts?
Nintendo eShop and Nintendo Store
Nintendo says it often runs digital software sales through the eShop and Nintendo Store. It also says it often sells refurbished physical games and hardware for less than new. Availability and prices depend on the current storefront and listing. Nintendo’s support page says it currently has no discount codes for Nintendo Store purchases and does not offer coupons for purchases from other retailers. Check Nintendo’s purchase-discount and coupon information rather than assuming a coupon will apply.
Official bundles
Nintendo’s U.S. offers page lists a Mario Kart World console bundle with $37.98 in stated savings compared with buying the components separately. That comparison includes the system, game, and membership; membership terms apply, and savings may vary by retailer. The same page lists a Switch 2 plus Switch Sports Resort bundle for $529.99, with stated savings of $27.98 and an availability date of October 22, 2026. Because that date is after the October 8, 2026 check date, the bundle was not yet available at that time. See Nintendo’s U.S. offers page for the bundle components and current terms.

What to verify before buying a deal
- Price and stock: Check the destination retailer’s live listing; the reported Amazon prices may have changed or sold out.
- Edition and format: Confirm the listing is for the Switch 2 edition you want and whether it is physical or digital. The price report does not specify format.
- Store region: The cited deal prices and Nintendo offer details are for the U.S.; do not assume the same prices apply elsewhere.
- Upgrade versus full game: A $9.99 Zelda upgrade pack is not the price of the underlying game.
- Bundle math: Read which items and any membership are included in the comparison used to state savings.
Nintendo’s U.S. store lists Switch 2 accessories including the Pro Controller and a 256GB microSD Express Card, but those listings alone do not establish that either is discounted. See Nintendo’s Switch 2 hardware and accessories listings for product availability.
