For standard Keese Wings and Keese Eyeballs, search Hyrule Field, West Necluda, and cave entrances where groups may emerge. For elemental parts, look for the matching Electric, Fire, or Ice Keese in the caves and regions associated with that variant. These are reported habitats, not guaranteed spawn points or fixed-yield farming routes.
Where to find standard Keese
Standard Keese are reported in Hyrule Field and West Necluda, and they sometimes fly in packs. Caves are also worth checking: groups may swarm out of the entrances, so watch for them as you approach or leave.
A farming guide published July 7, 2023, suggests these areas as starting points:
- Hyrule Field: -0503, -0679, 0024
- West Necluda: 1320, -1525, 0197
These coordinates indicate areas to search, not guaranteed Keese spawns. The same guide recommends checking caves; a walkthrough names the following standard Keese habitats:

Standard Keese can drop Keese Wings or Keese Eyeballs. The available guides do not establish a drop rate or a reliable number of parts per trip, so plan to search for groups rather than counting on a particular haul.
Where to find elemental Keese
If you need an elemental part, seek the matching variant. The listed habitats below are reported locations, not guarantees that a Keese will appear on every visit.

- Ultrahand: Using the new Ultrahand ability, Link can pick up, move, and rotate almost any object, and can even attach objects together to create bridges, vehicles, and more!
- Fuse: Magically fuse almost any object to Link’s current weapon, shield, or arrow to increase durability, damage, or even add a new effect. Experiment with lots of different combinations to come up with surprising—and sometimes hilarious—results!
- Ascend: Add a new dimension to your exploration with Ascend, which gives Link the ability to pass through solid objects above him. Rise up through ceilings, hillsides, and even certain enemies to create seemingly impossible shortcuts.
- Recall: Use Recall to make objects in motion move backward through time, letting Link ride fallen boulders skyward, recover thrown weapons, or send projectiles back where they came from.
| Variant | Reported habitats | Parts noted in the walkthrough |
|---|---|---|
| Electric Keese | Royal Hidden Passage; Whistling Hill Cave; North Akkala Beach Cave; Ancient Altar Ruins; East Gerudo Ruins Cave | Electric Keese Eyeball; Electric Keese Wing |

| Ice Keese | Walnot Mountain Cave; Hebra Headspring Cave | Ice Keese Eyeball; Ice Keese Wing |
The compendium also associates Fire Keese with Eldin, Ice Keese with Hebra and Mount Lanayru, and Electric Keese with Gerudo. For the most specific search, use the named habitats for the variant you need.

The Hyrule Compendium describes standard Keese Eyeballs as useful for their “glaring awareness”: attaching one to an arrow gives the arrow a homing quality. Its elemental eyeball entries describe the same use. This is the Compendium’s stated effect, rather than a measured claim about how far or reliably an arrow tracks.

Nintendo’s general guidance notes that defeated monsters can drop parts and that monster parts can be used in elixirs or combined with weapons through Fuse. Its guidance is general; it does not specify a Keese-specific recipe or guarantee a particular effect beyond the Compendium’s homing description.
