Solo horror with a story focus
Don’t Play This DEMO: the quickest sample
This first-person horror walking simulator is built around viewing recordings of people’s final moments. Steam estimates 15 minutes for the demo and lists 5 GB of storage and a GTX 1060 minimum graphics card. Pick it when you want a contained solo sample rather than a longer session.

FATHER Demo: a compact opening to a larger story
FATHER asks you to manage a household under strict rules, explore its rooms, find items, and piece together fragments of a story. The developer estimates 25–30 minutes. The demo covers only part of the full story, and Steam’s mature-content description warns of blood, dead bodies, and gore.

Anomaly horror and co-op observation
No Visitors Allowed Demo: watch for what changes
Set in an abandoned hospital, this psychological-horror loop asks you to turn back when an anomaly appears and continue when the corridor seems normal. Steam gives a broad 15–80-minute play-time range, so the time needed depends on the run. Minimum requirements are Windows 10 or later, 12 GB RAM, GTX 1050 Ti or equivalent-class graphics, and broadband internet.
Did You See That? Demo: compare notes with a friend
This is the selection’s two-player online option. Players compare whether they see the same things in a transforming carnival. The demo released September 5, 2026. Steam lists Windows 10, 8 GB RAM, a GTX 1070 or equivalent graphics card, and 3 GB of storage as minimum requirements.

Project DeepWeb: Eternal Nightmare: browse a fictional internet
The developer’s June 2026 announcement describes a demo built around a fictional operating system: browse websites, uncover stories, and solve puzzles. The announcement said the demo would remain available after Next Fest, but that statement does not confirm current availability; check the Steam listing before you plan to play.
Broomstick Exorcist Combat Demo: a one-level action sample
This hand-drawn 2.5D supernatural beat-’em-up focuses on combat, with abilities unlocked for its bite-sized, one-level demo. Its Steam page says it is playable on Steam Deck. Choose it for action rather than a narrative walking simulator or anomaly-spotting loop.
