Can you still buy Nintendo 3DS games?
Nintendo 3DS eShop purchases ended when the store closed on March 27, 2023. Nintendo Life’s eShop closure FAQ says prior purchases can still be redownloaded. If you did not already buy a game digitally, the practical option is to look for a physical copy, with stock, condition, region compatibility, and price varying by seller. No current inventory or market price is established here, so check the specific copy and console region before purchasing.
Nintendo UK’s 2017 feature described the system’s library as follows: “There’s quite a library of games on Nintendo 3DS family systems.” That was a historical description, not a statement about present-day digital purchasing.
