If Roblox removed the classic Headless Head from your inventory and showed a different dynamic head instead, you likely encountered Roblox’s classic-to-dynamic avatar migration—not necessarily an account-specific inventory glitch. The classic asset is Headless Head, ID 134082579. The replacement reported in the Developer Forum thread was a DynamicHead identified as 15093053680.
The evidence does not prove that Roblox permanently erased every owner’s entitlement or that every Headless Horseman owner was affected. It does show that some owners stopped seeing the classic item in their ordinary inventory, while later forum evidence characterized the bundle-head conversion as expected. In practical terms, Roblox appears to have upgraded or replaced the bundle head for affected accounts, but the rollout did not match users’ reasonable expectation that a previously purchased classic item would remain available.

What happened to the classic Headless Head?
The original complaint was posted by Szeloba in Roblox’s Catalog Asset Bugs category on December 12, 2023. The reporter said they had acquired the Headless Horseman bundle in 2021, but the classic Headless Head disappeared from the inventory. Roblox instead showed a dynamic head with a different asset ID.
The report identified the affected classic item as:
- Classic asset: Headless Head, ID 134082579
- Replacement reported in the thread: DynamicHead, ID 15093053680
- Date the reporter first noticed the change: November 30, 2023
The reporter also said the behavior appeared on multiple accounts, while some other accounts still appeared unaffected. That pattern is more consistent with an uneven migration or account-state difference than with a simple local cache problem on one device.
The replacement did not always produce the familiar headless appearance by itself. The report said users initially had to equip the MoodAnimation or Anime Mood head to obtain the intended look. A later reply indicated that removing or unequipping the mood animation could resolve that immediate appearance problem. That workaround, however, did not answer the more important ownership question: why was the classic Headless Head no longer visible as a normal inventory item?
Classic Head and DynamicHead are different asset systems
Roblox’s avatar system distinguishes between a traditional Head and a DynamicHead. They are not merely two labels for the exact same catalog object.

Classic heads provide a fixed head shape and historically worked with classic faces. Dynamic heads are designed to support facial expressions, facial animation, emotes, and compatible face accessories that can deform as the avatar moves. Roblox’s creator documentation describes dynamic heads as avatar components built around facial-animation capabilities and standardized head specifications.
Roblox’s AvatarAssetType documentation also lists Head and DynamicHead as separate asset types. That distinction matters here: the reported replacement was not simply a renamed display entry for asset 134082579. It was a different asset record or asset class in Roblox’s avatar system.
In other words, seeing the dynamic replacement does not establish that the classic Headless Head is still available under the same inventory entry. It also does not prove that the dynamic version is identical to the classic item that the user originally obtained.
Why the change looked like an inventory loss
Roblox had already begun moving classic heads and faces toward facial animation. In its Developer Forum migration announcement, Roblox explained that classic faces and heads were being upgraded to support facial animation. The announcement’s FAQ said that an upgraded item could be taken off sale while previously owned classic assets were generally expected to remain available. It also directed users toward the original classic head under a Classic Head category.

1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsThat general migration message created a clear expectation: a player who already owned a classic item should not simply lose access to it because Roblox introduced a dynamic equivalent. The Headless-specific reports do not fit that expectation cleanly. Affected users described the classic item as missing from the ordinary inventory presentation while the dynamic replacement appeared for avatar use.

The most accurate description is therefore an inconsistent user-facing migration. The available evidence does not establish that Roblox deleted the old asset from every internal system, but it does establish that some users could no longer find or use it in the way they expected after the migration.
Was this a bug or an intentional Roblox change?
The answer changed depending on which stage of the discussion is considered.
The December 2023 report documented a problem
The original post treated the change as a catalog or inventory bug. It described the expected behavior as retaining the purchased classic Headless Head and the actual behavior as receiving a different dynamic head, sometimes with an inconvenient MoodAnimation pairing.
That report is evidence of the symptom and its effect on users. It does not, by itself, prove whether the classic asset was deleted, hidden from the normal inventory view, temporarily unavailable, or intentionally replaced at the account level.
A later 2025 reply called the behavior expected
A reply dated April 17, 2025, in the original thread stated that the behavior was expected and that static heads included in bundles had been fully upgraded to dynamic versions. This is the clearest status statement found in the thread, although it is a forum reply rather than a formal Roblox support article or universal product-policy document.
That later statement shifts the likely explanation from “one player’s corrupted inventory” toward “an intentional bundle-head migration that produced confusing results.” It still does not resolve every ownership question, particularly for owners who expected the original classic asset to remain separately selectable.
Headless Horseman appears to be part of a broader bundle migration
A separate March 2025 Developer Forum discussion described similar complaints about classic heads included in bundles being removed from owners’ inventories when those bundles were upgraded to dynamic heads. Participants cited examples including Noob Attack – Mech Mobility, Blazeburner, Magma Fiend, Junkbot, and Skelly.
That discussion also suggested that Roblox treated bundle heads differently depending on their relationship with classic faces. Some classic heads that supported classic faces were reportedly handled differently from heads that were converted as part of a dynamic bundle upgrade.

This is useful corroborating context, but it should not be treated as a complete official Roblox rule. It comes from community discussion and reported implementation behavior, not from a published inventory policy that explains every bundle and every account. The evidence nevertheless supports the conclusion that the Headless Horseman change was probably part of a wider bundle-head migration rather than an isolated database failure affecting only one player.
Why users objected specifically to the dynamic Headless Head
Players were not only concerned that the catalog entry had changed. They also reported that the replacement did not behave like the familiar classic Headless Head.
The dynamic version initially required a MoodAnimation or Anime Mood head to create the expected headless appearance. That made the result feel less like ownership of the original asset and more like a combination of separate avatar components. Removing the mood animation could address the immediate visual issue for some users, but it did not restore the old inventory item or guarantee the same compatibility with outfits and accessories.
A May 2024 Catalog Asset Bugs report asked Roblox to restore the classic head in the Headless Horseman bundle and remove the MoodAnimation and dynamic head. The response acknowledged that the arrangement was not ideal, but said Roblox was exploring ways to make the head dynamic and was not changing the bundle at that time. This indicates that Roblox was pursuing the dynamic version as a product direction even while users disputed whether the result was an adequate replacement.
Does owning Headless Horseman still prove you own asset 134082579?
Not conclusively, at least not from the available public evidence.
There are three narrower facts that can be supported:
- Asset 134082579 was the classic Headless Head associated with the Headless Horseman bundle.
- Some owners reported that it disappeared from their ordinary inventory presentation after the dynamic-head migration.
- Later forum replies described the replacement of static bundle heads with dynamic versions as expected behavior.
Those facts do not justify saying that Roblox permanently destroyed every owner’s entitlement, nor do they establish that every affected player can recover the classic asset through a standard support request.

What you can check in Roblox
There is no documented, guaranteed recovery procedure in the available evidence. You can still check whether the item is hidden under a different avatar category or whether your account is showing only the dynamic version.
- Open the Avatar Editor while signed into the account that originally owned Headless Horseman.
- Check both “Heads” and “Classic Head.” Roblox’s migration documentation has used the Classic Head category for original head assets, so do not rely only on the default recent-items view.
- Search for Headless Head by name and, where the interface allows it, by asset ID. The classic ID is 134082579. Treat the reported replacement ID, 15093053680, as a thread-reported identifier rather than a guaranteed current canonical listing.
- Inspect the bundle and currently equipped avatar. Confirm whether the account shows the Headless Horseman bundle, a DynamicHead, or only a visual headless effect created by combining a dynamic head with a mood animation.
- Test without MoodAnimation or Anime Mood. If the appearance changes, that distinguishes an avatar-combination issue from the underlying inventory question.
- Check the same account on another supported device or browser. This can rule out a stale client or display problem, although it cannot restore an asset that Roblox has migrated server-side.
Take screenshots of the inventory categories, the bundle ownership page, the equipped dynamic head, and any relevant transaction or purchase history. These records are useful if you contact Roblox Support. Contacting support is a legitimate escalation route, but there is no evidence that support will necessarily restore asset 134082579 or provide compensation.
What not to assume
- Do not assume the classic asset was permanently deleted from all Roblox databases. The public reports show missing inventory visibility, not the internal disposition of the asset.
- Do not assume every Headless Horseman owner lost the classic head. The original report said some accounts appeared unaffected.
- Do not assume the dynamic replacement is identical. It is a separate DynamicHead asset type and was reported to require additional avatar components for the intended look.
- Do not assume Roblox Support guarantees restoration. The sources establish no universal recovery or compensation policy.
- Do not treat community theories about facial hair, eyebrows, or other design reasons as confirmed Roblox policy. The available evidence supports the migration explanation, not an undocumented product rationale.
- Do not use third-party “free Headless” generators, scripts, or catalog bypasses. They cannot legitimately restore a purchased inventory asset and may put the account or credentials at risk.
Asset details and evidence limits
A catalog-tracking record identifies the classic Headless Head as asset ID 134082579, created on October 31, 2013, updated on May 11, 2018, and currently off sale, with Roblox listed as the creator. Those dates and status should be understood as tracker-reported catalog facts rather than a substitute for a current official Roblox catalog or API response.

The strongest available conclusion is limited but clear: the classic Headless Head disappeared from some users’ ordinary inventory presentation during Roblox’s dynamic-head migration. Later evidence suggests Roblox considered the bundle conversion intentional or expected, but the rollout conflicted with the broader expectation that previously owned classic assets would remain available and separately identifiable.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is asset 134082579 permanently deleted?
The available evidence does not prove that Roblox permanently deleted the asset from every internal system. It shows that some users stopped seeing the classic Headless Head in their normal inventory after the dynamic-head migration.
What is the replacement for the classic Headless Head?
The original forum report identified a DynamicHead with ID 15093053680 as the replacement. Because that ID was reported by a forum user and was not independently verified here through an official Roblox catalog or API source, it should not be treated as a universal canonical ID for every account.

Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Can I get the classic Headless Head back?
There is no documented, guaranteed recovery method in the available evidence. Check the Avatar Editor’s Heads and Classic Head categories, record your ownership and inventory state, and contact Roblox Support if the item is missing. Support restoration is not guaranteed.
Why does the replacement sometimes need Anime Mood or MoodAnimation?
The affected report said that the dynamic replacement initially required a MoodAnimation or Anime Mood head to produce the intended headless appearance. Unequipping the mood animation reportedly resolved an immediate appearance issue for some users, but that does not restore the original classic inventory item.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: The classic Headless Head, ID 134082579, appears to have disappeared from some owners’ inventories as Roblox migrated static bundle heads to DynamicHead assets. Later forum evidence calls the conversion expected, but the user-facing result was inconsistent with the expectation that previously owned classic assets would remain available. Check both Heads and Classic Head in the Avatar Editor, document the account state, and use Roblox Support for escalation—but do not assume that a guaranteed restoration process exists.
