Where should you start?
The games are sequential story entries, not alternatives. Start with Remake Intergrade if you want the remake story from its beginning; choose Rebirth if you have already played the first entry and want the next chapter. Nintendo calls the three releases standalone titles, but that does not make Rebirth the first chapter of the remake project.

What to know about the Switch 2 editions
Square Enix’s September 2025 announcement said the physical Switch 2 edition of Remake Intergrade included a Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY Play Booster while supplies lasted. That was a limited-supply launch bonus, not a guaranteed current offer; verify the specific edition and seller listing before buying.
