Square Enix says it has no plans for post-launch DLC for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The publisher’s official FAQ answers the question directly: “We have no plans for post-launch DLC content.” That describes Square Enix’s current plans; it is not a guarantee that they can never change.
Is there a Final Fantasy VII Rebirth expansion or DLC?
No post-launch DLC is currently planned, according to Square Enix’s official Final Fantasy VII Rebirth FAQ. Its answer to “Is there any post-launch DLC for the game?” is: “We have no plans for post-launch DLC content.” The FAQ does not announce an expansion or a separate DLC product.

The wording is about the publisher’s plans, not an irrevocable promise that additional content will never be made. It also addresses post-launch downloadable content specifically; it does not mean the game has no optional activities, updates, bonuses, or content included with a particular edition.

No. Square Enix describes Rebirth as the second standalone game in a project that reimagines the original Final Fantasy VII in three parts. The third title is a separate game in that project, not an expansion to Rebirth. The official page does not give a DLC announcement for Rebirth through that sequel context.
