Neople has fixed several specific crash scenarios in The First Berserker: Khazan, but its patch notes do not confirm that every PS5 crash is fixed. Install any update offered for the game, then compare when your crash occurs with the situations the developer has documented.
Which Khazan crashes have been fixed?
The official patch notes identify several particular crashes, each tied to a distinct circumstance. They do not describe a blanket fix for all crashes on PS5.

What to do if Khazan still crashes on PS5
- Check for a game update. On your PS5, check the game’s update status and install any update offered for The First Berserker: Khazan. The developer’s May 2025 notice asks players to apply the latest update before playing.
- Note the version and circumstances. Record the game version shown on your console, whether the crash occurs in an ordinary mission or Ultimate Challenge, and the action immediately before it. This information can make a support report more specific; it is not, by itself, a diagnosis.
- Compare the crash with the documented cases. Check whether it occurs during weapon switching while guarding in Ultimate Challenge, when exiting after death with the camera locked onto an enemy, while viewing the specified equipment attribute information, or during a resolution change under the specific AMD FSR 3 conditions.
- Contact official support if it does not match. If the game is updated and the crash differs from those listed, the cited patch notes do not identify its cause. Give official game support your version, activity or location, and last action rather than assuming a particular console fault or repair.
The resolution-change fix is tied to certain AMD FSR 3 settings. It should not be treated as a general PS5 crash fix; the March 24 notice lists it separately from the equipment-information crash.
