Contemporaneous reporting says connection failures returned after Hotfix 1.01 went live, including a looping connection error. That sequence is evidence of when players encountered trouble, not proof that the update broke the servers. The available reporting does not establish a cause for the July 5 recurrence.

What happened during the earlier outage?
The July 3, 2024 connection problem is a separate incident. Nexon put the game into maintenance mode, then reopened it while warning that Microsoft’s network had not fully recovered. In a notice reproduced by Windows Central, Nexon said the connection issue was “mainly due to MS Network error” and that it was waiting for Microsoft to recover. That attribution applies to the earlier outage; it does not confirm the cause of the post-patch failures on July 5.

This is a historical account of the July 2024 launch period, not a live server-status report. Nexon’s official news feed, checked October 8, 2026, lists later patches and hotfixes, showing that the game continued to receive updates. That feed does not establish whether servers are available at any particular moment, or whether the July 5, 2024 connection failures shared the cause of the July 3 outage.
