Group search or matchmaking does not complete
Write down whether solo play, an invitation, or a public group search fails. Record the approximate time and your region, and note whether another member of the group sees the same result. If one player can host while another cannot join, preserve both players’ platforms and messages instead of assuming that the Switch 2 owner is the cause.

How can you compare Switch 2 Wi-Fi with a wired connection?
This comparison is a diagnostic, not a guaranteed repair. Nintendo specifies Wi-Fi 6 for Switch 2, and the included dock has a wired LAN port that can be used in TV mode.
