The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle combines The Sims: Legacy Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection for Windows, including the original games and the packs listed below. EA lists it for EA app, Steam, and Epic Games Store. The bundle is digital, and it requires an EA Account, EA app installation, internet access, and single-use product-code registration.
What’s included in The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle?
EA describes the bundle as containing the content of both Legacy Collections. That means the included games and packs are divided between two collections:

Are the Sims 4 kits included?
No. EA’s 2025 anniversary announcement mentions the Throwback Fit Kit for The Sims 4 alongside the first collection and the Grunge Revival Kit for The Sims 4 alongside the second. They are separate cross-game extras, not packs for The Sims or The Sims 2, and should not be counted as part of either Legacy Collection’s DLC list. Details are in EA’s 25th birthday announcement.

Platforms and PC requirements
The bundle launched globally on January 31, 2025, for Windows 10 and 11 through EA app, Steam, and Epic Games Store, according to EA’s announcement. EA’s product listing gives these minimum requirements:
| Requirement | EA-stated minimum |
|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10 or Windows 11 |
| Memory | 4 GB |
| Processor | Intel i3 3220 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200/FX6300 |

| Storage | 16 GB |
These are the minimums EA publishes, not a guarantee of performance on every PC. Check the official listing before buying in case requirements or availability have changed.

Account, app, and internet requirements
EA’s terms require an EA Account, EA app installation, an internet connection for purchase, installation, and registration, and registration with a single-use product code. Buying through Steam or Epic does not remove the EA account and app conditions stated on EA’s product page. Review the listing and storefront terms before purchase if you need to play without an internet connection or avoid additional launcher accounts.
Bundle price versus buying the collections separately
At launch in 2025, EA announced suggested retail prices (SRPs) of $39.99 for the bundle, $19.99 for The Sims: Legacy Collection, and $29.99 for The Sims 2: Legacy Collection. At those announced list prices, the bundle cost less than buying both collections separately. These are historical US-dollar SRPs, not a promise of today’s checkout price.

- Your net worth is determined by the value of everything you own -- use any assets you collect to unlock the secrets of Strangetown
- Keep it together or you'll go insane -- watching after your aspirations and fears with the Sanity meter will keep you from having a nervous breakdown
- Uncovering secrets will help you keep your sanity. Are you a social climber? A people pleaser? Keep your Sanity meter maxed out by asking the right questions
- Socialize with the other Sims to unlock key secrets of Strangetown - then connect with other PSP players to socialize with them and trade secrets that they have unlocked
When the EA product page was retrieved on October 8, 2026, it displayed $23.99 reduced from $39.99. That is a time- and region-sensitive listing observation; taxes, regional pricing, discounts, and other storefronts may produce a different total. Check your chosen store’s final price before purchasing. The launch figures are documented in EA’s announcement; the current listing is on EA’s product page.
Should you buy the bundle or one collection?
The decision mostly comes down to whether you want both games and whether the PC and account requirements work for you:
Rank #4
- Be the Pet. Wield control of your Sim's pet to chase, dig, tackle and more. Be the perfect companion or wreck havoc on your Sims
- Pets have their own traits! From intelligent, brave, and friendly to hydrophobic, skittish, and clueless to gentle, fast, and agile, determine the personality of your Sims' pets
- Pets can learn skills - Cats and dogs can learn to hunt, dogs can learn to locate collectibles and fetch your Sims a date. With career opportunities, your Sims' pets can even work their way up the chain to become the ultimate criminal mastermind
- Only on PC - More pets mean more fun! Create a wide variety of unique dogs, cats, and - for the first time ever - horses! Think your Sim has what it takes to tame a wild horse?
- Exclusive Limited Edition content! Only in The Sims 3 Pets Limited Edition will you find a pet store filled with one-of-a-kind objects
- Choose the bundle if you want both original games and their listed packs; compare the bundle’s regional checkout price with the two separate collection prices.
- Consider one collection if you only want to revisit The Sims or The Sims 2, and the standalone option is available at a price that suits you.
- Check compatibility first if your PC is near or below EA’s minimum requirements, or if 16 GB of storage is not available.
- Check account conditions if EA app installation, an EA Account, or online registration is unsuitable for your setup.
Is there a physical edition?
The bundle is listed as digital PC software; the available sources do not establish a boxed physical edition. EA separately announced anniversary merchandise, including limited-edition apparel, retro pins, and a 2000s-themed gamer mat. That merchandise is not needed to play, and its current stock is not established.
