If The Sims Mobile’s Sim Festival tutorial tells you to view Seasonal Tasks but no tasks appear, historical EA Forums posts describe that mismatch as a bug: the tutorial could remain incomplete because the task it pointed to was unavailable. Those reports and update messages are old, however, and do not establish whether the issue affects the current game or whether a particular update fixes it.
Why the Sim Festival tutorial can get stuck
EA described Sim Festival as a feature where players complete Daily and Seasonal Tasks to earn Prize Tickets, which unlock rewards. In historical player reports, the tutorial prompted players to view Seasonal Tasks even though those tasks were missing, leaving the tutorial prompt on screen. EA Forums reports also described other problems occurring around the same time, such as events not starting, Sims not leaving home, or buttons not responding. The reports do not establish that all of those symptoms had the same cause.
This was reported as a bug, not as an intentional requirement to unlock Seasonal Tasks. The forum posts are historical; they cannot confirm that the bug is widespread or still present in 2026.
Where Seasonal Tasks were shown
Historical guidance in an EA Forums thread placed Seasonal Tasks in the same section as Daily Tasks, when Seasonal Tasks were available. Check that section to see whether they appear. This is a location check, not a guaranteed workaround: if the tasks are absent, the forum guidance does not explain how to make them load.

What EA’s historical updates do—and do not—confirm
In the Spanish-language forum discussion, an update addressing problems caused by the Sim Festival tutorial was described as on its way to app stores. A separate French-language thread said an Android update had been published and an iOS update was expected. These were communications at the time of those posts, not confirmation of current app-store availability or a present-day fix.
EA’s Summer Paradise update notes mention fixes for other issues, including some players being unable to start Sweet Treat Showdown challenges from Parkside and duplicate Daily Tasks. Those fixes do not establish that the specific missing-Seasonal-Tasks tutorial problem was resolved. The page also lists a historical 52-day schedule for Sim Festival Season Three beginning August 12 (dates listed in PST); that schedule is not a current season length or a troubleshooting instruction.

- Develop Parenting Skills – Level up your Sim’s parenting skills to satisfy their child’s needs and influence their behaviors. Gain new abilities through experience and choosing when to discipline bad actions, encourage good behavior, or just let kids be kids.
- Shape Your Sim’s Childhood – The decisions you make influence how your Sim parents and leave a lasting impact on their child’s future. Each choice shapes their personality, affects their traits, influences their family relationships, and guides their path into adulthood.
- Gather your Sim’s family to participate in new activities and spend quality time with each other. Sims of all ages can work together to complete a variety of school projects, express their creativity using construction blocks, or volunteer their time for good.
- Customize your Sims’ looks and their home with new family fashion and build items. Give the kids’ bedrooms extra personality, remodel the kitchen to feel homier, and let your Sims express their sporty or artistic sides with new outfits.
What to do if the prompt is still there
- Check the task section. Open the area containing Daily Tasks and look for Seasonal Tasks there, as historical forum guidance indicated. If they are not present, note whether Daily Tasks are visible as well.
- Check for a current game update. Use your device’s app store to see whether The Sims Mobile has an update available. This is a sensible general check, not a fix verified by the historical forum posts.
- Consult current EA support if it persists. Describe the tutorial prompt and whether Daily or Seasonal Tasks appear. The reviewed forum discussions do not establish a current official workaround, and they do not support promising that reinstalling or updating will resolve the issue.
What remains unknown
The available historical discussions show that players encountered a tutorial blocked by missing Seasonal Tasks, and that community replies said reports had been passed to the team for examination. They do not establish the bug’s status in the current version, identify a confirmed patch for this exact issue, or provide current official troubleshooting steps.
