The “Geralt upgrade” is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered, not a separate upgrade for Geralt as a character. CD PROJEKT RED released the new edition on September 29, 2026. The publisher describes it as a free upgrade for existing owners on eligible platforms, with visual and gameplay changes and both expansions included.

Does Remastered come to PS4 or Xbox One?
No Remastered edition for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One is established in CD PROJEKT RED’s FAQ. The publisher says the game itself remains unchanged on previous-generation consoles; the change for those players is access to Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine at no cost. The FAQ specifically identifies PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for those free expansion downloads. Remastered is the current-generation edition, not a graphics upgrade to the older-console version.
