3. Lower output resolution before image-quality details
If frame pacing is unsatisfactory, reduce the output resolution first and test again. - Lower output resolution and test the same type of scene again.
- Lower the most demanding visual options exposed by the game, one at a time.
- Close browser tabs, recording software, launchers, and other applications that compete for CPU or memory.
- Check Task Manager while the problem occurs. A saturated CPU, nearly full memory, or a GPU running at its power or temperature limit points to a system constraint rather than a single image-quality setting.

Performance degrades during a longer session
On a laptop, this pattern commonly indicates heat or a power-profile change. Confirm that the charger is connected, vents are clear, and the system is not switching to a quiet or battery-saving mode. On any PC, check whether another application began a download, scan, recording session, or update.
