Yes. The Wolf Among Us Remastered is a complete five-episode package. It includes Faith, Smoke and Mirrors, A Crooked Mile, In Sheep’s Clothing and Cry Wolf in one purchase, along with five playable deleted scenes and other bonus features. You do not need to buy the old season pass or episode DLC again.
The remaster does not include The Wolf Among Us 2, which is a separate game planned for 2027. No episode six or paid remaster expansion was announced at launch on 29 October 2026.

What exactly is included in The Wolf Among Us Remastered?
The remaster contains the entire original season’s main story. Telltale and PM Studios describe it as “All five original episodes” in one definitive package, rather than a release that unlocks chapters over time.

IGN describes the five chapters as roughly two hours each, although your time will vary with reading speed, exploration and repeated scenes. The plot, dialogue and decision structure remain the 2013–14 season’s story. The remaster improves the presentation instead of adding a new campaign.

Game director Matt Saia said the team avoided changing “the story, the directorial choices, and the overall art style.” Models, lighting, audio and the interface were rebuilt or refreshed, but the mystery involving Bigby Wolf and Fabletown is still the same prequel story.
Do I have to buy the original season pass or episode DLC again?
No. The old season pass was a way to obtain the later chapters of the episodic release. Those chapters are already part of the remaster’s base product, so buying the 2013 game or its season pass is unnecessary if you want the remastered version.

- PC and Steam: the season product was sold as a complete season. A Steam purchase was treated as the season pass and included all five episodes as they launched.
- Xbox 360 and iOS: Faith could be bought on its own, while a season-pass or multipack purchase covered the remaining four episodes as they released.
- PlayStation 3: players could generally buy chapters separately or purchase a full-season option.
That structure is why older listings can use “DLC” language even though there was no separate story expansion beyond the five-episode season. In the remaster, the former episode purchases are consolidated into one SKU.
Are the deleted scenes separate DLC?
No. Five fully playable deleted scenes are included as in-game special features. Telltale says they were restored from material cut from the original episodes; they are not a paid add-on or a sixth episode.

The scenes sit outside the main campaign. One documented example is an alternate take on the Anderson Street cover-up. You can treat them as optional archival content: they expand your view of production and unused material, but they do not add a new branch that replaces the season finale.

The remaster also includes:
- More than 100 pieces of artwork in a gallery.
- Over an hour of exclusive developer and cast interviews.
- Developer commentary, concept art and other archival material listed among the feature set.
- Noir Mode, an optional full black-and-white presentation that can be switched on or off at any time. It changes the look, not the story or choices.
These features are part of the remaster purchase. At launch, Telltale’s materials did not list a remaster season pass, episode-six pack or paid bonus bundle.
Does the remaster add new story episodes?
No. It does not add new main-story episodes. The campaign remains the original five chapters, with the deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes material serving as extras rather than a continuation.
This distinction matters if you are buying it expecting a longer adventure. The remaster is a visual and archival upgrade of the existing season, not a new season. Reviews from IGN and GamingBolt characterize it as a refreshed presentation of the same game, with the added features aimed particularly at newcomers and fans who want preserved cut content.
Is The Wolf Among Us 2 included?
No. The Wolf Among Us 2 is a separate sequel scheduled for 2027. It is not a downloadable chapter for the remaster and is not bundled with it.

Telltale and PM Studios have confirmed that defining choices made in the remaster can carry forward into the sequel for players using a Telltale Account. That is continuity between two products, not ownership of the sequel. Telltale has not confirmed that save files or choices from the 2013 original can be imported into the remaster, so plan on a fresh playthrough if you move from the old release.

The original remained listed on Steam for $14.99 during remaster launch week, while the remaster’s digital list price is $24.99. The older version may make sense only if you specifically want the original presentation or the lowest upfront price; it does not provide additional episodes.
What did the remaster cost at launch, and are there owner discounts?
The digital list price is $24.99 USD, according to Telltale and PM Studios. A launch promotion ran from 29 October through 12 November 2026:
- Many new buyers received 20% off on Steam, Epic and Xbox.
- On PlayStation 5, the 20% launch discount required PlayStation Plus.
- Qualifying digital owners of the original on the same store and account could receive up to 50% off, about $12.50 before tax.
- PS5 owners without PlayStation Plus were offered 30% off.
- Offers could not be combined. Physical copies of the original did not qualify because stores could not verify them as digital ownership.
These were time-limited launch terms, not a permanent guarantee. Buying the original solely to obtain an owner discount was not economical during that window: the original’s $14.99 Steam price exceeded the remaster’s 20% new-buyer price.

At launch, no additional paid DLC was announced. The five episodes, deleted scenes, gallery, interviews, commentary and Noir Mode were presented as part of the base game.
That is a statement about the launch offering, not a promise that no store item can ever appear later. If a future listing uses “DLC,” check whether it is a cosmetic or archival add-on rather than assuming it contains a missing episode. The currently announced sequel is a separate purchase, not remaster DLC.
Do I need to read the Fables comics first?
No. The game is designed to stand on its own. It is a licensed, non-canon prequel set roughly 20 years before the comic timeline, with Bigby serving as Fabletown’s sheriff.

Choose the original only when preserving its older presentation or paying less on a currently listed store matters more than the remaster’s improvements. Choose neither as a substitute for The Wolf Among Us 2: that 2027 sequel will tell a new story and is not included here.

Can I start with The Wolf Among Us Remastered if I know nothing about Fabletown?
Yes. The game introduces its characters and setting without requiring comic-book knowledge. The comics provide additional background, but the remaster’s mystery is structured as a self-contained prequel.

Will my choices from the 2013 version appear automatically in the remaster?
There is no confirmed save-transfer system from the 2013 release. Treat the remaster as a new playthrough; only choices made in the remaster are identified as carrying toward the 2027 sequel through a Telltale Account.
Is the Nintendo Switch version available on the same day as the digital release?
No. Switch was delayed beyond the 29 October 2026 digital launch. Telltale and PM Studios had not announced a replacement Switch date in the launch materials.
Are the physical and digital editions different in story content?
The planned Q1 2027 physical release is intended as a collectible version of the same remaster, not a separately written edition. Exact boxed configurations and pricing were still unannounced at launch.
How long is the complete remastered season?
IGN describes each of the five episodes as about two hours, so the main campaign is roughly ten hours before optional deleted scenes, gallery material and replays. Actual completion time depends on reading pace and how often you revisit choices.
