To get the Shotgun in Tormented Souls 2, reach the top of the Convent Bell Tower with the Hammer and ring the four bells in this order: second-smallest, largest, smallest, second-largest. The glass case opens so you can collect the weapon.
What you need before climbing the Bell Tower
You need the Hammer to strike the bells. PowerPyx places it on a nun’s corpse in the Convent Crematorium; collect it before attempting the tower puzzle. PowerPyx’s weapon locations guide identifies the Hammer’s location, and its trophy guide confirms the Bell Tower puzzle as the Shotgun acquisition point.

How to reach the Shotgun case
- Return to the Convent Bell Tower and climb the spiral stairs.
- Use the Hammer to break the two green vases along the way.
- Continue upward and climb the ladder to the top of the tower.
- Examine the plaque beside the glass case. Use the voice descriptions to identify the bells by size, then strike them in the sequence below.
The route and puzzle are detailed in Into Indie Games’ Convent walkthrough.
Bell order for the Shotgun
- Second-smallest
- Largest
- Smallest
- Second-largest
This corresponds to the plaque’s bell names: Victor is medium-sized, Big Joe is the largest, Little Claudio is the smallest, and Elias is the next-largest. When the sequence is correct, the glass case opens or shatters; take the Shotgun. Destructoid’s walkthrough corroborates the name-to-size mapping and notes that enemies may approach as you descend, so stay alert on the way back down.

No. The Bell Tower reward is the initial Shotgun. Destructoid describes a separate, later step involving a Metal Pipe to make the Double-barrel Shotgun; that upgrade is not part of this bell puzzle.
