For the prison power box in Tormented Souls 2, set the five switches from left to right: Right, Left, Left, Left, Right. Use the pliers to open the wired box, then return to the prison cell area and pull the lever on the walkway to restore power and unlock the cells.
How to solve the prison power box puzzle
- Use the pliers on the wire securing the power box to open it.
- Set the five switches from left to right: Right, Left, Left, Left, Right.
- Return to the prison cell area and pull the lever on the walkway.
Restoring power unlocks the prison cells and advances this section toward the Crypts.
Where to find the clue
The puzzle clue, called the Symbol Paper, is in an open cell. If you want to check the clue before setting the switches, look there; you can still enter the sequence above directly.
Why this is not the Generator Room puzzle
The prison puzzle is a power box with five directional switches. The separate Generator Room task is a different objective: it involves placing a Spark Plug in the generator, using a nearby switch, and operating a coupling lever. Those steps do not replace the prison box sequence.
