Short answer: The clearest fixed-date snapshot reported four Universal Tower Defense codes as active on April 17, 2026: ThankYouForUTDX!, 2.0Patch!, WeLoveFern!, and TheAntIsland!. Other codes appeared in April 14 and April 18 roundups, but April did not have one stable list for the entire month.
This is a historical April 2026 guide, not a promise that the codes still work after that month. These rewards and the April 17 date come from the April 20 UTDX code report. The same source calls the reward from WeLoveFern! Prodigy Mage, while other April lists call it Fern. Treat those as alternate labels until the in-game unit inventory establishes the exact name.

Source coverage for this group includes the April 14 update list and the April 18 roundup. The oddly dated December 2025 slug on the first page does not change the fact that the supplied article was published as April 14 coverage.
Ragnarok and Update 1.5 codes carried into April
These codes came from the March 16 Ragnarok and Update 1.5 release guide and continued to appear in April lists. The March guide is the strongest contemporaneous source for the specific rewards, but later roundups disagree about several payouts.

The original reward descriptions are from the March 16 Ragnarok / Update 1.5 guide. A later April roundup instead gives Ragnarok!, Update1.5!, and SorryForReallyLongDelay! a generic package of Trait Rerolls, Stat Rerolls, and Stat Locks. Do not silently combine those reports into one definitive reward list.

Why the Ragnarok reward reports conflict

How to redeem Universal Tower Defense codes
- Launch the Roblox experience associated with the Universal Tower Defense developer group. The older experience page is available through Roblox.
- Enter the main lobby rather than remaining on a loading screen or inside a match.
- Find and select the Codes button on the right side of the screen.
- Paste or type one code exactly as shown in the tables, then select Redeem.
- Check your Gems, Gold, rerolls, Stat Locks, shards, fragments, or unit inventory for the reward.
Preserve every capital letter and punctuation mark. In particular, keep the exclamation mark in codes such as ThankYouForUTDX! and 2.0Patch!, but do not add one to NinjaMaintenance. Keep the spaces in I Have A Wish!. Most code guides advise entering codes exactly or treating them as case-sensitive; that is practical redemption guidance, not a formally published Roblox-wide code specification from the developer.
If a code says Invalid or Expired
Work through these checks in order:
- Copy it again. Check capitalization, periods, exclamation marks, spaces, and whether a trailing character was accidentally included.
- Check the level gate. The April reports include requirements from Level 5+ through Level 30+. A code can appear in a list and still reject a lower-level account.
- Confirm that it has not already been redeemed. Some games use an invalid or generic error for a code that was already claimed.
- Leave and rejoin Roblox. A fresh server can load a newer code configuration after an update.
- Try another code from the same dated batch. If one code works and another does not, the failing code may have expired or been disabled rather than being entered incorrectly.
- Check the game identity. Make sure you are in the UTD experience covered here, not Ultimate Tower Defense or another similarly named tower-defense game.
- Check the official community channel. The supplied official Discord invite is discord.com/invite/universaltd. Look for a replacement or expiration announcement there.
Codes can expire without warning. If you are reading this after April 2026, assume that even a code reported active during the month may no longer work. The April 30 code update, Pocket Gamer code history, and later database pages are useful for checking what subsequently moved into an expired archive, but a third-party active label is not proof of a live redemption.
Universal Tower Defense, UTDX, and UTDZ: which game is this?
The naming is responsible for much of the conflicting coverage:
- The Roblox experience was created on April 4, 2025.
- April 2026 articles used Universal Tower Defense, Universal Tower Defense X, and UTDX, with one contemporaneous report explaining that the game had previously been known simply as Universal Tower Defense.
- A later Roblox API record identifies universe ID 7488190691 as Universal Tower Defense Z, lists it as a Strategy/Tower Defense experience, and associates it with the Universal Tower Defense [UTD] developer group. The record shows a July 26, 2026 update date, which is later metadata and should not be projected backward as an April title.
For this article, the April UTD and UTDX code reports are treated as coverage of the experience now associated with UTDZ. This does not mean that similarly named games, especially Ultimate Tower Defense, use the same codes. The safest approach is to open the experience through the Roblox listing or developer group rather than searching only for the words Universal Tower Defense.

There is an important difference between these statements:
- Reported active on April 17: a dated article specifically gave that check date. This applies to the four-code snapshot above.
- Reported in April coverage: the code appeared in a contemporaneous roundup, but the source did not prove an independent live redemption on that date.
- Reward disputed: multiple lists agree that the code existed but disagree about what it paid.
- Short-lived: a source described a limited duration or imminent expiration, as happened with
NinjaMaintenance. - Historical or unverified: the code appears in an archive, but the supplied evidence does not establish that it was live during a particular April snapshot.
No claim in this guide should be read as saying that every code was tested, permanently active, or officially confirmed with every reward listed. Code databases can copy one another, and dynamic tables can change after publication. The fixed-date wording is more reliable than a page that simply labels a large archive as all working.

Is Universal Tower Defense X the same game as Universal Tower Defense Z?
In the supplied April coverage, UTDX was used as an alternate or earlier name for the experience previously covered as Universal Tower Defense. A later Roblox API record for the same universe identifies it as Universal Tower Defense Z. Do not confuse those reports with Ultimate Tower Defense or another similarly named Roblox game.
Why do different pages give different rewards for Ragnarok! and Update1.5!?
The March 16 Ragnarok / Update 1.5 guide gives specific rewards, while a later April roundup assigns some of the same codes a generic reroll and Stat Lock package. Should I add an exclamation mark to NinjaMaintenance?
No. Enter NinjaMaintenance exactly as documented. Do not add punctuation that is not part of the code. The same rule applies to periods, spaces, and exclamation marks in every other entry.
