Community posts placed the access date on June 18, 2025, but Walmart’s exact eligibility, timing, order limits, and public-access terms were not confirmed by an official Walmart source. The English expansions released July 18, 2025; their Booster Bundles launched later, on August 22.
What was the Walmart+ early-access preorder?
Community search-result excerpts reported that paid Walmart+ members had early access to preorder Black Bolt and White Flare on June 18, 2025. Treat that date and membership detail as community reporting, not verified Walmart policy. The event-specific access window, purchase limits, duration, and whether or when a public preorder followed are not established by an official Walmart source.
Because the reported preorder is over, joining Walmart+ now cannot provide access to it. Pokémon’s general partner-promotion guidance, updated January 30, 2026, says that promotions are typically available while supplies last and that details such as retailers, regions, and dates may vary or change. Which expansion or bundle should you look for?
Choose based on the set-specific cards and Pokémon you want. The two expansions are related, but their card contents are not identical; Pokémon explicitly says they have unique cards. A Black Bolt Booster Bundle contains six Black Bolt packs, and a White Flare Booster Bundle contains six White Flare packs, according to Pokémon’s gallery. The sources establish no pull-rate comparison, guaranteed chase cards, or expected card value, so those are not reliable ways to distinguish the bundles.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Can you still buy them?
Possibly, but current stock, seller, and price depend on the retailer and can change. A Walmart product page observed for this topic displayed a marketplace offer from a third-party seller, not proof of current Walmart-sold stock or the historical preorder terms. The listed price at that time was not an MSRP or a fair-value benchmark; check the seller and current offer directly on the Walmart listing before relying on it.

Pokémon Support’s May 26, 2026 update says high demand has affected availability for some TCG products and that Pokémon is working to print more of impacted products, with reprints expected at participating retailers as soon as possible. It does not provide a restock date for Black Bolt or White Flare. The update also mentions virtual queues for certain Pokémon Center releases during periods of high site traffic; that is not a promise of a queue or restock for these products.
