Warner Bros. Discovery removed six Cartoon Network and Adult Swim games from sale on digital storefronts after December 23, 2024. The affected stores included Steam and the Nintendo Switch eShop. The removal ended new sales through those stores; it does not by itself show that existing buyers lost access.
Which games were removed?
Contemporaneous reports named six titles. PC Gamer’s December 23, 2024 report and Nintendo Life’s December 24, 2024 report listed the same group:
- OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes
- Steven Universe: Save the Light
- Steven Universe: Unleash the Light
- Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time
- Adventure Time: Finn and Jake’s Epic Quest
- Adventure Time: Magic Man’s Head Games
Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time was published by Adult Swim Games; the other five were associated with Cartoon Network Games. PC Gamer described Adult Swim as a Cartoon Network division.
When did the delisting happen, and where?
The Steam notices gave December 23, 2024, as the end-of-sale date. PC Gamer reproduced the notice for OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes: “Attention players, OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes will no longer be available for sale after Dec 23rd, 2024. Thanks for playing, Cartoon Network Games.” Notices for other titles used the relevant game title.

Steam and the Nintendo Switch eShop were among the storefronts affected. Reports also described removals from other digital platforms, but they do not establish the current availability of every game on every store or in every region. Availability can change, so check the specific storefront and region if you are considering a purchase. The Cartoon Network Games Steam publisher page is one place to check for current Steam listings.
Can you still download a game you already bought?
Nintendo Life reported that Switch owners who had previously bought the affected games should still be able to download and play them. That report is specific to Switch purchases; it is not confirmation of a universal guarantee for every platform, account, or region.

- Approximate running time 44 minutes.
A delisting means a game is no longer being offered for new purchases through a storefront. It does not automatically mean that prior purchasers have lost the ability to download or play it. For a specific copy, check the platform account and library where you bought the game; access rules and availability may differ by platform.

The contemporaneous reports did not give a reason, and Warner Bros. Discovery did not publicly explain the removals in that coverage. Licensing, business economics, or corporate strategy may be proposed as possibilities, but the available reporting does not establish any of them as the cause.
