No new Skate reveal at Summer Game Fest 2026 is confirmed in the official EA, Full Circle, and event material reviewed. More importantly, the game commonly called “Skate 4” is already out in Early Access: EA and Full Circle launched it as skate. on September 16, 2025. That makes a supposed first reveal or launch teaser a misleading way to describe its current status.
Was Skate 4 at Summer Game Fest 2026?
Summer Game Fest 2026 took place on June 5, according to the official event page. The official material reviewed does not confirm a new skate. reveal or teaser during the showcase. That is a limit on what the reviewed sources establish, not proof that no mention or appearance occurred: the event page is not a transcript of every reveal, and EA’s news archive is not an explicit denial of an event appearance.

EA’s Full Circle news archive and the current official game page instead show ongoing support for the existing game, including seasonal announcements, events, and developer updates. A season or in-game event should not be mistaken for a separately announced sequel or a new first-look trailer.
What is “Skate 4” officially called?
The current game is officially styled skate.; “Skate 4” is a common informal name. EA and developer Full Circle announced it under that title ahead of its Early Access release. Executive Producer Mike McCartney said the goal was to capture “the freedom, creative expression and community of skateboarding, and share it with as many people as possible.” That describes the game’s aim, not a Summer Game Fest teaser.

When did Skate 4 come out?
skate. entered Early Access on September 16, 2025. EA and Full Circle announced that date on August 26, 2025, then confirmed the Early Access launch on September 16. It is therefore already playable; it is not waiting for a first reveal. The announcement listed PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the EA app. EA and Full Circle’s date announcement and launch announcement provide the official details.
Is there a new Skate 4 trailer?
The official sources reviewed do not establish a new Summer Game Fest 2026 teaser or trailer. EA’s game page includes updates to the live game, but those updates alone are not evidence of a new trailer or a distinct sequel reveal. Treat claims about an SGF teaser as unconfirmed unless EA, Full Circle, or Summer Game Fest publishes an announcement or footage that clearly supports them.

EA described the Early Access game as free-to-play, with optional in-game purchases that are cosmetic. The release information describes a digital release; it does not establish a physical edition. See EA and Full Circle’s launch announcement for those terms.
