Rhiannon is a playable six-star Beast Arcanist added to Reverse: 1999 in the Version 3.7 third-anniversary update. Bluepoch presents her as a reclusive trainer of the Adar Llwch Gwin, a flock named in Welsh, and as a support character whose buffs can serve several team archetypes. Her arrival follows Meryl’s disappearance in the chapter On Another’s Sorrow, but current story material treats Rhiannon and Meryl as separate people rather than confirming an identity twist. The original limited banner ended on September 24, 2026; no rerun or alternate acquisition route has been established in the cited material.
When was Rhiannon introduced in Reverse: 1999?
Rhiannon debuted during Version 3.7.0, the game’s third-anniversary update. AppMagic’s release history dates Version 3.7.0 to August 2026 and lists her among its new six-star characters. Bluepoch’s anniversary event listing calls her an “Anniversary Limited Character” and places her in the finale of the 3.0 story series.
She was available in the Phase 2 “A Newly Hatched Chapter” banner until September 24, 2026. Bluepoch also advertised 10 Unilogs during the Phase 2 login period, while AppMagic reported up to 155 summons across the Version 3.7.0 anniversary campaign. Those figures describe the launch event, not a permanent guarantee or a currently open banner.

Who is Rhiannon in the game’s story?
Bluepoch describes Rhiannon as a mystical bird trainer who lives in seclusion with the Adar Llwch Gwin. Her introduction is tied to the ending of On Another’s Sorrow: Meryl disappears into a curtain of rain, Vertin follows a golden thread, and Vertin finds Little Rhiannon.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
That scene creates a new clue in the Storm mystery, not a solved explanation. The available account explicitly rejects describing Rhiannon as Meryl, a replacement for Meryl, or a “better Meryl.” It does not establish why the golden thread leads Vertin to her, how the rain curtain relates to her existence, or what Meryl’s disappearance ultimately means.
Which story is Rhiannon’s character episode?
Her dedicated character story is The You That’s Meant To Be. It is separate from the main chapter On Another’s Sorrow. A complete, verified transcript is not available in the cited material, so details about her origin, motives, or the exact relationship between the two girls remain unconfirmed.

Is Rhiannon Welsh?
“Welsh-inspired” is the most accurate description supported by the available evidence. The cited official copy does not state Rhiannon’s nationality or ethnicity. The Welsh reading comes from the terminology attached to her: Adar Llwch Gwin names her flock and a team buff, while Annwn and Bendith appear in her skill text.
These are strong Welsh-language and mythic markers, but they are evidence of cultural and linguistic inspiration rather than an explicit in-game nationality statement. Unless Bluepoch supplies a direct description later, calling her definitively Welsh goes beyond the stated canon.

What does Rhiannon do on a team?
Rhiannon is a Mental-damage, six-star Beast Support character. Her kit combines team buffs, action-point efficiency, archetype flexibility and extra-action utility, making her useful in more than one composition rather than locking her to a single damage pattern.
| Kit element | Function |
|---|---|
| Chirping Chorus | Applies the Adar Llwch Gwin team buff and grants Rhiannon Bendith. |
| Bendith | Strengthens her basic incantations and lets her cast her own incantations without spending action points while the status lasts. |
| Attunement | Feeds Raptor Kinship and builds Rapport stacks. |
| Raptor Kinship | Enables Sensory Bond. |
| Sensory Bond | Gives allies an extra round of actions and prevents enemies from acting during the status. |
| All-Rounder | Counts Rhiannon toward many archetypes, increasing team-building flexibility. |
The practical distinction is that her support value is not limited to raw damage amplification. Bendith can reduce pressure on a team’s action economy, while Sensory Bond creates a temporary window in which allies act again and opponents are unable to take their turns. The exact payoff depends on how a team converts those extra actions and on the timing of her setup skills.

How does Rhiannon compare with Meryl?
Rhiannon and Meryl should be compared as separate characters until the game states otherwise. Their relationship is currently a narrative question, not a confirmed identity reveal.
| Question | What is established |
|---|---|
| Identity | Rhiannon is introduced as her own character; the cited material does not identify her as Meryl. |
| Narrative function | Rhiannon appears after Meryl’s disappearance and extends the Storm mystery. |
| Spoiler status | The connection is revealed at the end of On Another’s Sorrow. |
| Unresolved points | The golden thread, the rain curtain and Meryl’s ultimate fate are not explained by the available account. |
How could players obtain Rhiannon?
At launch, the route was the limited “A Newly Hatched Chapter” banner in Version 3.7 Phase 2. That banner closed on September 24, 2026. As of October 27, 2026, the cited sources verify neither a rerun nor a permanent-pool or exchange acquisition method, so players should not assume that ordinary six-star banners can produce her.
Bluepoch’s Phase 2 distribution covered the App Store, Google Play and Steam. The same release promoted anniversary merchandise through the official store and AmiAmi, but merchandise availability, regional shipping and inventory can change independently of the character banner.
