PXN wheels work with many racing and driving games, but compatibility depends on the exact wheel model, game, and platform. Use the compatibility chart for your model family and check the game’s platform column before buying or troubleshooting. PXN publishes separate charts for different wheel families, so a title listed for one wheel is not automatically confirmed for every PXN wheel.
Which games does PXN list as compatible?
PXN’s Australia chart for the V99, V10, V10 Pro, V10 Ultra, V12 Lite, and VD-series wheel families names a broad range of racing, rally, driving, and trucking games. Examples include:
- Racing and track games: Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Assetto Corsa EVO, Forza Motorsport, iRacing, Automobilista, Automobilista 2, rFactor 2, RaceRoom Racing Experience, Project CARS 2 and 3, GRID, and GRID Legends.
- Rally and off-road games: DiRT Rally 2.0, EA SPORTS WRC, DiRT 3, DiRT 4, DiRT 5, WRC 6 through WRC Generations, MudRunner, and SnowRunner.
- Formula racing: F1 24, F1 23, F1 22, F1 2021, F1 2020, F1 2019, and F1 2018.
- Driving and trucking: Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator, BeamNG.drive, CarX Drift Racing, and Test Drive Unlimited entries.
- Forza Horizon: Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Horizon 5.
These are entries on a chart covering several wheel models, not a promise that every game works with every model or platform. Check the exact chart and platform column at PXN Australia’s gaming compatibility page.
What about the V3, V9, and V9 GEN2?
PXN has a separate chart for V3, V9, and V9 GEN2. Its PC list includes Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator, Farming Simulator, Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione, F1 games, Forza Horizon 4 and 5, Project CARS 2 and 3, RaceRoom Racing Experience, DiRT 4 and 5, The Crew 2, SnowRunner, and WRC titles. Its console columns include examples such as Forza Horizon on Xbox; Gran Turismo 7 and GT Sport on PS4; and Mario Kart 8, Gear.Club Unlimited 2, and FAST RMX on Switch. Consult the V3/V9/V9 GEN2 support chart rather than assuming the newer-family chart applies to these wheels.

How to check whether a specific game will work
- Identify the exact wheel model. Check the label on the wheel or its product documentation. “PXN wheel” alone is not specific enough to establish compatibility.
- Open the chart for that model family. PXN maintains separate charts, including a V3/V9/V9 GEN2 chart, a V9 GEN2/V10/V99 chart, and the newer-family chart.
- Check the correct platform column. A title’s presence on PC does not establish support on Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch.
- Read any chart marker or setup note. Some Xbox entries need special steering-wheel mode, and some PC entries need a force-feedback file change.
- Treat a blank cell as unconfirmed. PXN says blank cells mean the game is not listed for that platform or has not been purchased and tested; they do not by themselves prove incompatibility.
If the answer affects a purchase and the exact model/platform combination is not listed, contact PXN support or the game publisher for confirmation.
Xbox: some games need special steering-wheel mode
For games marked as requiring special steering-wheel mode on the V9 GEN2/V10/V99 support page, connect the wheel and hold L3 + R3 for three seconds before launching the game. PXN’s V10/V99 FAQ describes holding the buttons for 3–5 seconds and names examples including Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Project CARS 2 and 3, F1 23, WRC 7, GRID, GRID Legends, and The Crew Motorfest. Follow the marker and instructions for your model and game on the PXN chart and V10/V99 FAQ. The special mode ends if the wheel disconnects, so reconnecting may require setting it again.

PC: check for force-feedback file instructions
Some titles in PXN’s charts are marked as needing a force-feedback device-file adjustment. PXN’s instructions say to locate the game’s input/devices folder and replace device_defines through Steam’s local files. This is a game-specific setup note, not a step to apply to every PC game. Check the marker and instructions on the relevant PXN chart before changing files.

Does a PXN wheel work on PS5?
PXN explicitly states that the V9 GEN2, V10, and V99 do not support PS5 on its V9 GEN2/V10/V99 chart. Do not assume that statement applies to every PXN model: PXN Australia’s chart for a different, newer family separately marks Forza Horizon 5 as PS5 only. Check the chart for the precise wheel and game rather than generalizing across the brand.
